Happy birthday Juliejim - hope you have a fabulous day xxxx

Well your sleuthing was correct. I'm 21 again today! Thank you for the birthday wishes. I've had a lovely day so far and been thoroughly spoilt. Off for lunch with my parents and then all going out later this evening. I've been bought a DS and the only flying I'm doing is a quick tidy up of 7 things each time I solve a puzzle on Pandora's Box. It's a hard life :rotfl:.

Hugs to you all and massive hugs to those who need them xxxxx

Ooooh Poohbear - what a lucky pooch getting you as it's new family. Hope the right dog finds you quickly xx
  • Sorry I've not been about, still very tired and have been working hard trying to promote my flower brooches so not done any flying. Going out soon to a dr's appointment (just a normal check up with the psychiatrist) and DH says we are going shopping later, as we have a money off voucher for Mr T but it can only be used in store. Glad he's able to come with me - we desperately need to go shopping we are nearly out of loo paper!
Love and hugs to all xx

She's not into birthday cake - and will be having a big cookie for her sleepover on Saturday...so what do I stick the candles in tonight? Advice please flyladies....

The tub of ice cream you can have as dessert?

    a pizza?

    the tub of rice?

get floating candles and put them in a bowl of water on the table while you eat then sing to her and have her blow them out when you are done?

    a cheesecake?

BIG candles or number candles just sat on the table?

A block of the oasis stuff flowers get stuffed into surrounded by a wreath of her favourite flowers?

We don't like cake much either!

Had you said earlier we could have suggested an 'underwear' or 'pamper' cake.. like the nappy cakes... :p

Need to make the christmas cake - never done this before - should I bung the fruit in to soak for a while - I've got Brandy/juice/tea - what do you think - googled it but there seems to be 365 ways of doing it - I need quick and easy! Don't want the cake to be too dark.

Penny's been soaking her fruit for DAYS :p but you don't have to leave it quite that long. What you soak it in really depends on what you want the cake to be like as it will influence the flavour. Obviously there'll be as many opinions on here as there are via google, but personally I'd recommend looking up Delia or Nigella, depending on which one you usually prefer.

    Good luck...
