Piggers/Jill D, bed wetters, mine were given Kylies (these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kylie-Bed-Sheet-3-Litre_W0QQitemZ220521994270QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Home_Garden_Bedroom_Bedding_PP?hash=item335822981e ) by enuresis nurse, we used them with the protector I sent you (I can get more if you need) We were told they could not have 'nappies/pull ons from them at the minute. I can still squeeze DS2 (just) into the dry nites which I tend to get on offer on Boots online using codes. He is 8 but 4 ft 11 & large build. You can get adult incontinence nappies, inc off ebay (sometimes people get health service ones & don't use them) I've seen them go for £25 for 100 (collection). My friend struggles to get enough for her double incontinent daughter with severe CP so we have no chance getting them off NHS. Until they outgrew them we got the largest size pampers provided. They will supply cloth pants with up to 2 pads per day but they are ****ing useless. Drop me a PM if you need more info, PS you are within your rights to demand to see a specialist. Oh & I think we got help once they hit 5 years old with pads etc.

There is some direct info coming out for children/DLA, you would probably need back up from enuresis with bed wetting so ask for referal as they can prove other methods are being used & issues still exist. I hate this as they call evidence from practitioners 'factual reports' as if the parents one isn't. The more of these you can get the better. http://www.cafamily.org.uk/pdfs/FactsheetDLA.pdf for now.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

    xmas-smiley-010.gifMorning ladies,
    'The holly and the ivy,
When they are both full grown
Of all the trees that are in the wood
    The holly bears the crown
O the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
    Sweet singing of the choir'
    Newhouseowner - welcome2.gif
    Jinky the non-reindeer - smooch.gif and hugs.
Zoelikesjam - I do hope you feel better soon hon.
    Toots - big hugs honey
De.Nat - if it helps, rant all you like. I have a toxic mother too. And I have bought myself my own brthday pressie too as apart from my OH the gift thing is pretty non existant now.
Jill - the cake looks fab and you and your daughter are very pretty!
LadyL - kiss.gif Nice to talk to you as ever. Hope you enjoyed Neighbours..smile_wink.gifsmile_tongue.gif and by all means send the darning, I will be happy to do it!!
    Rose - hugs as always
Tris only just logged on and is a bit down cos he wants to be out doing all the christmas things he usually does like cutting down the tree and bringing it into the house and putting up the ranch lights etc. I am trying to help but since posting on the Daily and waiting for him I have realised how tired I am and to be honest, a bit blue myself.
My birthday on the 14th and no mum and no beloved nephews. I miss my nephews so much it hurts. Sorry, I know I mention this far too frequently but the whole toxic mother discussions have been close to the bone for me and with my birthday and christmas coming, it all just hits home some more. I miss the birthday cards (always two from mum - family tradition and home made ones from each of the boys) and I miss hugging them and I miss the birthday party tea we always had.
Oh boy what a self-pitying drip! Ok, *mentally shakes herself* that is enough of that, there is a cowboy needing some positivity and that is more important right now. :rotfl:Sorry for the moan, worse things happen at sea!
    Off to find my list

    Morning All

I haven't caught up with the thread but I will try to do that tonight. I will hopefully get my LR done as well as it needs sorting.
