Amazing what you can do with an extra hour at home in the morning! I've finished the online shop, stripped the bed, packed a book swap and printed postage and repacked my work bag. :D

Need to go in about 3 mins and clean my teeth, Dr appt is 9.28am. Then I will nip to boots on my way to the station to pick up an order, then better get to work!!

This is what todays list looks like. Not sure when to put up tree as have not decided whether to get a real one or not and have an abiding memory of a tree my mum and dad had that was completely bald by xmas eve and we had to get a new one:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:But I will start putting decs up though, want to try and do it slowly this year rather than the mad rush we normally do. Also need to check with friends partner to see if ceiling is likely to be done this side of xmas IYSWIM

Well today is 2nd anniversary of my Dad's passing away so I want to buy some red roses for the house (he loved to buy flowers for my Mum, it was a ffiday evening ritual for him on the way home from work, also he had hte most beautiful display of roses on his coffin, we all got one to bring home but saddly mine fell apart before the end of the day.) This is the first time I'm can actually think/talk about it. The last two xmases I've just sort of muddled through going through the motions (which is another reason I don't want to rush things) This year I'm determined to get xmas cards/pressies sent etc Its very difficult as I have no one to delegate these things to.

All my love and hugs for all those going through the same thing. My deepest condolences to Hex

    Thanks for lisening

Morning everyone. Just a quick visit. I need to do a bit shopping. There is a parade here today for a regiment that has just returned from Afghanistan. Im going to go to that. Then to DDs and to my voluntary job. I did most of the living room at the weekend. Will catch up on bits of the list I need to later.

Froddy good luck with the counselling.
