Pigpen, you are so naughty :p, having met your Mother I know that you wouldn't DARE to tell her to shut the f**k up, she'd kill you....:rotfl:

Decluttering another coffee and then I really must get going.

Remembered some more stuff stashed for ebay.

De.Nattom, hun I think you need to give yourself permission to put a little distance between yourself and your Mum/Grandmother. Sounds like you have enough to del with without taking on other people 'issues'.

Do you think your Mum suffers from this

My dad certainly does, he gets obsessive about collecting certain items and collects like mad, it was originally records, he has over 30,000, I kid you not. Over the years its progressed to oil lamps, books, african art. He's one person living in a semi detached 3 bedroomed house and you can't move in it because of stuff. He cannot 'let go' of any of it either, he's pathologically 'stuck'. Come to think of it, erm.....I a bit like that too.:o:o:o

    Morning everyone!

At home today as DD is ill & is a bit wheezy. She's okay, but I want to be at home to keep an eye on her breathing just in case - wouldn't be able to settle at work!

Had a good weekend - got lots done in the garden on Sat & I'm feeling much less overwhelmed with it. Just a bit more to do round the front once the green bin has been emptied on Weds.

A bit more pressie shopping done yesterday & I've started writing cards too.

I'm going to make the most of being off work today & get lots done:
Monday ~ Kitchen of Grot and Dining Room of Gloom
    Level One
    Declutter and mop/vacuum the floors

    Find and wipe the worksurfaces
    Level Two
Wipe the big appliances and units.. don't forget kickboards!
Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge!
Clear and wipe a shelf or window sill
    Level Three
Wipe the table and replace the cloth if necessary.
Sort through and clean out one cupboard
Clean the oven and hob.. :D
    Extras
    1. Clean out the fridge.. make use of anything almost past its best
    2. Wash the windows
    3. Clean the top of the kitchen wall units.. if you can reach.. no accidents please!!
    4. Dust and Deweb
    will catch up later......

WANNA BET??? I said those very words to her just yesterday.. twice!

De.Nattom, hun I think you need to give yourself permission to put a little distance between yourself and your Mum/Grandmother. Sounds like you have enough to del with without taking on other people 'issues'.

ditto.. they sound like they are just dragging you down because they want you to be as miserable as them.. if they are incapable of clearing their own mess then they are the ones who have to live in it.. not you.. leave them be! I have been in despair with the clutter and mess and stuff.. but we had 10 of us living in a small 3 bedroomed house.. it is slowly getting better since we moved and I learned not yo horde carp.

I think the thing to do with your grans stuff is take it straight to either the tip or a charity shop far enough away from her that she can't go buy all her junk back.. maybe your mum should take her access to the bank accounts away instead of yours! :p

They both need to be growing up a lot by the sounds of it!

Embb... I'm fairly certain you all know pretty much all there is to know.

11 ebay items revised.. 29 left to do! *cry wail sob*

off to find a dust sheet and a roller and some paint.. and a brush.. back later.
