Boots OOTW 18/12/09

Ordered my box online at 05.55 on Friday for instore collection on 23/12 and have just had a dispatched email!!! Yay :j :j

Just to let anyone who's interested know if you are near The Fort in Birmingham. at 11:30am today they had a fair few left (loads near the door and piled up around the store), the Sales Assistants were even doing the hard sell on a lot of people milling around them when I grabbed mine. I was really surprised and had given up getting one anywhere so was really chuffed If you ring and are told there aren't any, if you are able to, I strongly suggest trying to get to a store just in case as I had been told the warehouse was totally empty now and they'd all gone, was shocked to see the piles of them in the store this morning!!

Me too I ordered mine about the same time for instore delivery and Im so happy to get a dispatched email.

They have loads in Derby if anyone is still looking this way

No time to read this thread at the mo so apologies if duplicated but Manchester Market Street had 900 (weren't expecting that many!) delivered just before 3 today so lots of people were able to get one (or two, but only after the queues had completely disappeared!). Well done to anyone who was there today - everyone managed to get one and right at the end there was a very kind lady who was originally buying 2 but let another lady have one as it was the last one on the stand.

Had to laugh though at the people who got completely caught up in the hysteria, queued up and then when they'd got it asked "What is it and is it free?". Found several just 'dumped' when people realised it was something to buy, not a freebie being given away.

Not sure if or when they expect anymore to arrive but believe me, Boots will do everything in their power to supply more. Now if only I'd bought some Boots shares.....

mine says it's departed depot on the DHL site, does this mean it might come tomorrow? It was due on tuesday. Is anyone else as sad as I am, I haven't done this many F5s on a website since 12am Friday morning!! Please can someone else confirm they are as sad as I am???

In Peterborough today there was no sign of the Soap and Glory boxes. The offer of the week stands were covered in a Boots 17 silver make up set down from £30 to £12. Was not tempted !

Nottingham Victoria Center had 300 delivered and were putting them out at 3.30pm today. Might have a few left in the morning x

These deliveries of hundreds & even thousands I've read about on this thread are mind boggling. :eek:

I count myself extremely fortunate to be the lucky recipient of one of the 26 delivered to my local Boots on Friday.

There must have been over 200 in there when we got there at 10.15 this morning. So why cant they send them to other stores too? Could it be to do with the fact Boots warehouse is in Nottingham???
