There were lots of hatboxes in Maidstone (Kent) this morning and people were paying them no attention at all!

exactly the same here hun - all the hype got me interested - stayed up until silly o clock - ended up with 3 the next day - hubby unbeknown to me got up really early as he was working in leics and had to travel = he got there just after 8 and waited for store to open - he was first in queue - got me two - meanwhile Id been and got one after dropping the children off at school - my friend has had one which leaves me two. have only stroked the box at the mo - not opening until Santa has been but it looks wonderful - the banter on here whilst we were all waiting was great wasnt it - lol!!!

Have just read the post above about the lady who didnt get one - I am sorry hun - you never know maybe your store may get more in - fingers crossed - where in the world are you hun? Are you anywhere near Lincoln?

I got mine in Edinburgh, believe it or not, yesterday lunchtime in the tiny Boots at the east end of Princes Street. They also had them in St James Centre (though they were selling quickly).

I'd go somewhere with a high concentration of Boots and go in, that's what I did with Princes Street during my lunch hour. There's one at North Bridge, St James Centre, East End of Princes Street, middle of Princes Street and the West End. That's quite a few within a mile and a half radius or so.

ETA: There's also one in Waverley Station

I was one of those people who stayed up until 1am refreshing the boots page just to look at that moronic happy couple. I gave up & went to bed. Had to get up again at about 4.30 for the loo & wanted to make the most of having to get up in the cold so went on the boots website & there it was the lovely hatbox. It took me about 30min to order as I kept falling asleep.
Now Im just waiting for it to be delivered today.

Its with DHL & Im really worried that they will just get any ole person to sign for it & I'll never see it again (which has happened many times before).
So Im not home & dry yet!
Just phoned up DHL to check what "HSD Out for Delivery awaiting IOD" means
HSD=Home Service Delivery (contracted out)

IOD= information on delivery (signature)

OOh I just heard & saw a fool getting out of his ugly mouldy green 4 wheel drive & having a go/being abusive to the fire fighters in the fire engine next to him. Hope they will be late when he has a fire the assh*le

Hallo

Does anyone know if they are being sold at Waterloo station, Canary Wharf or Kingston surrey? Was planning on getting one online and that did not happen and have a nasty bug so cannot get out. Its for DD1 and she will be so disappointed!

Just spoken to CS and was told there were 2 hat boxes allocated to me and would be despatched soon. I asked why people who ordered hours after me have had theirs despatched and i'm still waiting, he couldn't explain why this was happening. If your order is still showing as processing it may be worth giving CS a quick ring to see if you have been allocated any boxes. CS also said he had to tell a few people this morning that they wouldn't be getting their order as there was none allocated to them.
Hope everyone who didn't get one yesterday manages to get one today.

I think they were being sold at Canary Wharf yesterday so you could try to ring them to see if they have any left in stock. Just in case you don't know, there are two medium sized Boots there - one in Jubilee Place and the other in Canada Place/Cabot Square (plus two other small Boots).

Thanks for this suggestion. Just phoned CS and the hat box has been allocated to my order despite it still showing as in process.
