    Evening All

    Rant Alert !!
Why do i never get time to myself , i've been feeling rubbish lately (thanks for asking sistercas) annoyed at everything. Clare can you iron this, can you cut my hair, can you do us a bacon sanger, etc etc and when i ask for instance to watch DS so i can nip and get DD2 from pre-sch i get " i've got to clean the pigeons, walk the dogs" etc etc.
I know i ran out of tablets for 1 week so maybe i have to wait for them to kick in again . The house turns into a tip in the blink of an eye, and it's me that treads on the hair brush or DS that gets a crayon in his mouth...
Is everybody's daily life like this or it just mine ?

Deep Breaths.... Tea tonight LO paella. 3 loads in WM and TD is on as it's rained most of the day.

And to top it all off....I been crocheting pentagons not hexagons :o can anybody make use of 10

Hope your all happier than i am xx

PS crickey my post sounds wrist sliting :o

    Evening all,

Bargainbird, I think what you have just described is generaly a womans lot, but sometimes we are able to cope with it and sometimes we are not, we all get like it, big hugs to you hun, it will pass xxxx

    Hi Pammy and welcome xxx

Heavenleigh, hugs to you too xx

I am shattered, OH and I have cleared the shed and garden, I am now starting to regret the patio, with hundreds of plants in pots , some of them we struggled to pick up between us :rolleyes:, still its a big job out of the way.

Just waiting for OH to get out the bath to have tea, Im starving, on the plus side working outside all day seems to have improved my cold , think a glass of wine might be in order

    Have good evenings all xx

Bitsy not managed to get a mens health yet so a bit disappointed but will try again on monday

Bargainbird had a very similar rant yesterday - I am sick to death of doing everything for everybody and when I ask someone to do 1 thing - they either ignore me or disappear saying they have homework or something to do - as Redruby says its a womans lot  my solution? - hit the bottle ;):D

made a chilli for tea and really enjoyed it

    Evening from the bombsite

everything is in a state and i have the mother of all headaches.
If i`m sat still for a while then it subsides but as soon as i stand and try to move around its back with a vengeance.

As a result there are woodshavings all over the place and the houndies haven`t had their evening walk yet :o

DH came home from work and has had to go back out to do the supermarket run with Dad as i`m just not up to it. I`ve even had to turn the brightness down on my pc screen as its too difficult to look at.

There is a problem with one of the doorframes upstairs as when the joiner put the fixings in the wall is crumbling at one side so he needs to come back to fix it another day, the frame is wedged atm so that the door will close so we have to do the limbo to use the bathroom

Most of the freecycled stuff has been collected all apart from some doors which are going in the morning and a printer and some ink cartridges which i still have due to a no show - why do people do that  the guy could have let me know as he sent the last two emails from his blackberry so he could have easily sent another one.

OS wise i made sausage and onion pasta in the remoska and a pan of boiling water for tea later when DH gets home and an enormous beef stew in the microwave in a huge casserole dish so at least we shall be fed for the next couple of days.

The plasterer has dropped all his materials off ready for Monday morning so there is no room to swing a cat atm - speaking of cats my little black cat has been hidden away all day whilst work was being done and has emerged covered in cobwebs, i`ve no idea where her new hidey hole is.

Hopefully normal life (or as near to normal as it can get) is only a week away now. Then i can start looking at kitchens

    Heavenleigh - ((((HUGS)))) for you

Redruby - Nabs sounds like a lovely Saturday tea :D

Pammy - Welcome, i`ve noticed your posts over on the GC, nice to see you over here too.

Think i`ll lie on the sofa for a while to see if the headache will go away.

    Have a good evening folks

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Bitsy - Im well impressed. Whata transformation. You must so be both chuffed:T

Thanks I am very proud of him :o He wasn't that overweight when we first met, sadly we both piled on the pounds when we bought our first house together. Home cooking and OS ways were unheard of by me :o:o

DS is coughing like mad and has been really poorly today. His temp got over 38 degrees and he's got zero appetite and at this rate he's going to be sick for coughing. I am now wondering if it's swine flu. Question is does the temp have to stay over 38 degrees for a particular length of time???

Off to have a nose at NHS Direct.

Sistercas and Bargainbird - hugs to you guys. Stuff that happens is enough to make your blood boil!

Zippy - the oranges and cloves sound nice and pretty OS to me :D

heavenleigh - hugs to you xxxx

    pammy - welcome :j

  • Hi Peeps I have finished 'tweaking' my essay so I am feeling very virtuous and pleased with myself. I can now relax and not think about Uni or essays until the New year.Off to Greenwich tomorrow to see some old, and hopefully new faces at an MSE meet. Now I am going to have a small g&t to celebrate all my hard graft this evening.
    have a good evening all

Thank you all for the welcome, will get to know you all a bit better as I read on no doubt.
Have just been on the craft making thread and sethsnan posted a picture of a holiday glass block which is basically a glass block with a hole drilled in the bottom and some xmas lights put inside and then you decorate the outside. They look really nice so I am going to be OS and try and make my own as pressies. I will probably cheat and use a glass vase instead though as they are easier to get hold of and I wont have to drill.

Bargainbird, I have days like that. I am single mum and I am constantly repeating myself 'put your plate in the kitchen' 'hang your clothes up' 'put your toys away before you get something else out' I need to get a recorder to save my voice
