That's a bit of a nerve Sistercas, You need to find out where to lodge an official complaint, though having said that, I know that when I wanted to do that I neither had the time nor the energy to do it. Watchdog? Hope that you get it sorted out soon.

Bitsy - Im well impressed. Whata transformation. You must so be both chuffed:T
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Hi all, read today but need to catch up on yesterdays!

Not much to report here. Ummmm

Yesterday a friend Ive not seen in a long time came over and we put my christmas tree up. Its a black tree with built in lights, and is decorated silver and white. I think its yummy but she was decidedly dissapointed with the lack of tinsel and colour (or tack as my mum would say). We used to do tree tradition every year but then life got in the way, so we decided to start it up again. I got oranges for us to put cloves in so we sat and chuckled at my a**lly retentive almost symmetrical pattern, and her haphazard pattern:p:rotfl:

I wasnt feeling so well yesterday - am feeling tired and lifeless at the mo. SHe left about 1 and i got to bed at 2. Am absolutely ashamed to say i slept 2 hours, so got up just after 2 today :o I really needed it though.

My friend called over to put up a picture for me (mans work) so ive not had any grub yet. Seems odd having breakfast at this time, but am going to pop on some bacon and have eggs and wheaten with it. Was supposed to go out today to a local music gig, but don't thnk it's a good idea as i just feel stiff and rubbish. So I think the new plan is to pull my duvet down, and stick on come dine with me on 4 now , eat my brekkie and gaze at my sparkly tree.

not done any cooking or OSing really. Friend truly appreciated carrot cake, so is making one today for her family lunch tomorrow. Now i have almost a whole cake left as she wouldnt take any home so I may put some in the freezer (or have some after breakfast :o)

Was going to go to the butchers but will only spend money i don't have on food i don't need (and other rubbish). Besides, that would mean getting dressed:p So will take some jalfrezi from the freezer and have a late dinner of that with rice i think. :j

Sorry for the lack of OS. Although my orange with cloves is very pretty. I blame Delia as i seen one in her house :rotfl:Don't know if it smells nice over time or just looks pretty:p

Hugs to those in need and sorry for being a lazy mare.

Ah JC just noticed you're Belfast too! I don't really look at peoples locations. I'm east, cregagh/woodstock direction. You? x

Oh, welcome to Pammy by the way! :j:j:j

  • Evening all, haven't had time to read through the thread yet, plan to do that when the baby is in bed.
The elder three have gone to their dads, and as he is taking them to a pantomime and the cinema this weekend i have kept the baby with me. He asked me if i would like to go with them but i declined as not to give him false hope of a reconciliation as he walked out on us. But i am sat feeling a bit crap at another saturday night sat in alone.
Added to the blue mood is the fact the bargain furniture for dd's room i got delivered from ebay will not fit up the stairs and as it is vintage handmade cant even be taken to pieces and rebuilt up there!
Enough of the doom and gloom lol..... i have baked some muffins today for the first time in around 2 years and hope to keep it up, and instead of the takeaway i usually order on a saturday night i am going to make a pizza (ok i am using a 35p tesco base mix instead of my own dough but it's a start!) xx
I will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)
Card #2 £6. I will not be skint at Chistmas this year!

    Total £56

Heavenleigh Sorry you're feeling down a big HShuggies.gif for you. Well done on baking the muffins & the pizza base mix will be lovely. and so much cheaper than a take away :money: Once the baby is in bed do something for yourself - put some music on or a film and have a girly bath or something maybe? I used to do this when mine were little as pampering isn't something that Mum's get much time for HSnails.gifforyou.gif

Had a lovely afternoon watching Christmas films with DD & DS3 and reading through cookery books for inspiration on low, low fat buffet ideas for my Mum for Christmas Day. She is waiting for her gall blad to be removed & is having recurring attacks of pancreatitis so cannot tolerate any fat in her diet - not even an egg. Poor thing has gone from 9 and a 1/2 stone to 8st
