I've bought from these in the past and not had any issues. I bought a CD as a present for my husbands birthday from the kids on 19th November, received an email on 24th to say it had been despatched and I still haven't received it. Oh's birthday has been and gone now:rolleyes: It says delivery is 5-7 days.
On the website it says they won't investigate until 21 days after despatching which obviously I'm not there yet.
I have emailed them a couple of times though and not even had a reply. I've bought items from HMV and Play online at the weekend and they have arrived already!
Does anyone know of any other way to contact them apart from email as they don't seem to respond to email!!!!

You are not the only one in this position (seen this complaint with CDWOW recently on other film forums). As they come from Hong Kong/Australia they are subject to the vagaries of the postal system. Some of my Far East orders have recently been taking longer to arrive than I expected.0

I'm glad I found this thread, at least I'm not the only one!! I have ordered 2 CD's for christmas for my teenage children. I did use these last christmas and swore I would never use them again!! Anyway, the deal was too good to miss. My account says they were despatched 26 November and they are still not here!! I emailed them when it was 10 days after dispatch and they told me they would only investigate after 21 days. If anybody ever sees me saying about a good offer on CDwow again, hunt me down and slap me!!!! :mad:Mummy to 4 beautiful but expensive children0

I'm another one who is fuming. I ordered a DVD on 12th November. Didn't receive anything so emailed on 27th November to ask where it was and was told it was dispatched that day. Still haven't received it and am being told they won't investigate until 21 days from dispatch which itself is 15 days after order.
I've had a look at the Distance Selling Act and the info I read said that if the confirmation doesn't show a date of dispatch and the goods aren't received after 30 days then they have to refund. My 30 days are up on Saturday but have emailed quoting this and asking them to refund my card. What's the betting there is no reply.
I will never ever touch them with a barge pole again, this is appalling. I ordered items with the Hut on the same day and they turned up just a few days later so it's a no brainer as to who gets my money next time.0 -

Unfortunately CD Wow are based in Hong Kong/Australia so DSR doesn't apply to them. If you used a credit or visa debit card go for a chargeback.
CD Wow went rapidly downhill a couple of years ago when there were sold to an Australian outfit.
Saying all that, Far East post does seem to be taking a lot longer at the moment, witness the number of complaints for Bang CD, Crazy Tiger and CD Wow about non-receipt.0 -
Hi can I add my name to the list of unhappy CDWOW customers. Never had problems in the past but wont be using them again! Like a stupid fool was tempted in by their money off vouchers.
Currently waiting for 3 items supposedly despatched 25/11, 02/12 and 05/12.
What also annoys me is in the despatch email it says delivery takes 5 to 7 days. Then when you contact them they say you have to wait 21 days before they will investigate! I want to swear but I wont... :mad:0 -
And another unhappy customer here, I ordered a DVD from them 21st November, a package arrived today from Switzerland containing a fully sealed dvd case - it's a good thing it was a little treat for me rather than a gift as when I opened the case there wasn't a disc inside the box.
It's the first time I have had any problems with them admittedly and I have yet to learn what they intend to do about it, but it's going to end up my word against theirs since I have no way of proving that I was sent an empty case.Win's so far: Cadburys Mini Eggs £1.09 Pentel Goody Bag £10 , M&S Luxury Hamper £45, 10,000 Tesco clubcard points (£100) :j0 -
Well it arrived today from Switzerland!!! so it's taken 22 days from ordering and paying to have a Queen CD delivered!
