Yeah, and we're not planning to move for a long time. We had the whole place rewired a couple of years ago and obviously have the paperwork from that. How likely is it that it'll ever be noticed that it doesn't mention the outside work anyway...Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. just had this job done electric to shed and greenhouse.
It is RCD protected , armoured cable for the entire outside run.
Local isolation switches for the shed also.
And yes the cable can be run alongside the fence or under slabs etc.
amoured cable approx £1.50 p sq/m
sockets + breakers + RCD switches + labour to consider
Where do you buy cable by the square metre? The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

There is, of course, a subtle distinction to be made between a fully qualified and competent electrician with 20 years experience, C&G2330, 2382 & 2391 and NO Part P registration and a total f'ckwit with one!! IMO (as a fully qualified and "competent" Part P registered electrician) a bit of paper backed up by useless and toothless bureaucracy does not distinguish between a good electrician and a bad one.0
