    OH and BMs are on hugging terms, he's known them almost as long as he's known me.

    Of course I'd go to my friend's wedding. Are you asking if I'd go without my OH? A better comparison might be: would I expect my OH to be invited as a plus one to the wedding of a friend of mine whom he had never met? Probably not.

    I'm just uneasy inviting people I don't know and have never met.

    It's your day, so do what you want! Since the BMs already know each other and the OH would just be hanging around while they do their bridesmaids duties during the ceremony, I'd say invite him along to the evening do if capacity allows, one more body won't affect things. Use capacity as a get out clause or cost; or just say you're nervous enough without having to do it all in front of complete strangers! That's my line!

    I think it is all down to venue size / numbers, they may have a limit because of fire regulations and license regs!
