Thanks so much OP. Still seemed to work for me (apart from the 15% off), although only a couple of the sets still in stock. I combined it with some Mens Toiletries (50% off) & Mens Slippers (20% off), to make a fabidozi Xmas pressie for a fave Uncle (free del. also) - brill!0

This is what i just received from them and i went and had a look and it has let me put a new card through, so hopefully i will be getting mine.

I think this is pretty standard if they try and earmark the funds and the card is declined.
The same happened to me from M&S last week (my card had to be cancelled suddenly by the bank due to transactions appearing that weren't mine! :eek:)
I got the same 2 emails as you when I updated my card details so hopefully a good sign?0 -
Mine has now changed to dispatching soon, the port and mints is the one that is being held back as item not yet dispatched so looks like i am gonna get mine thanks very much to the op and the person who supplied the discount codes0

Seems strange they are doing that - why don't they just cancel the order if they are not going to honour the price - I don't think they are allowed to take more from your card than you've authorised0 -

Had the same e-mail for my second order of 2 books. My card is valid so I'm guessing it's because it's one of the new natwest visa debits that are full authorisation and guessing the M&S site doesn't like it for the same reason they don't like solo or electron
Changed the billing over to a mastercard instead and thats now changed to dispatching soon. Also changed the billing on my alcohol order (not been greedy 3 whisky sets and 3 of the festive fizz) so hopefully that will be fine now0 -
Oh my goodness, it really worked - £108 for £3.50!!
I'm not convinced this is a glitch, because it's got it everywhere that it's 50% and 25% discount. If it's not and we end up getting it I'm so delighted!
I used:
SNSDEC09 and MVCMSTEN which took it to £3.50.

BTW - I think they're out of the mulled wine sets as couldn't find that ...
the 25% discount is for 'foodstuff'. if they dont class the products as foodstuff then it shouldnt work. so the automatic discount that applies at the checkout is glitching. as for the codes, 3 of them you can legitimately use, but FLO15OFF shouldnt work as its for flowers. but it doesi think you can use it only once per account. by the way well done to those who got the £3.50 orders, i do hope they honour them! thats even more of a bargain than i got!!:T
