Don't shoot me if I'm wrong, but I was sure I'd read that some people who had order totals of £3.50 at checkout had checked on the M&S website and their order showed a higher total in their order history and so they'd cancelled their orders?! I think this only applied to '£3.50 total' orders though?!

No mine came out at £3.50 (still can't work out why, I expected it to be higher) and I just checked online and it still shows the same order total when I look in my account.

i think it always comes down to £3.50 because stuff already got 50% off, then m&s take another 25%. Then you use code for 12.5% and code for 10% then with the vat reduction that is 100% discount so all you would ever have to pay is £3.50 for delivery.

Had the email confirmation so far but I think mine has charged at the correct 50% off rate so it won't be cancelled but still a bargain, should have been £40 bought for £18

Some people are just idiots and do it for fun.

I have one saying "Items not yet despatched" and one saying"Items to be despatched soon" I did 2 small orders both less than a tenner.
