With my last order with them, everything was in stock and the order was charged for and despatched just over 24 hours later.

I also had a second order whch took 48 hours.

So it depends.

I would recommend sitting back and waiting. If the order goes through, then it does, if not, then it's one of those things. It's unlikely to be confirmed today as it needs to be accepted and picked first. Imagine how many thousands of orders M&S process every day, it takes time!

In my experience it usually takes 48 hours or so, so quite a lot of waiting I think!

Payment will be taken shortly before your order is despatched. For clothing, homeware, flowers and wine, payment will be taken when your order is being prepared for despatch.

My estimated delivery is the 14th so im assuming it will be a few days before or on that date

The order status will change to items dispatching soon (or something to that effect). At that point the card will be charged

thanks OP. i got it with 50% only but its still great offer.
i added 2 whiskey selection when i added my payment details, they were out of stock i waited for couple of minutes and went check out again, and there were 2 selection back again.:)
if the drinks are out of stoc, keep trying and wait till someone empty basket or not check out.
