galvanizersbaby I did not 'single you out', I did not even see your post until after I had entered mine as we were posting at almost the same time, but I had to answer the door to the postman so my post didn't appear until after yours! The greed I was referring to was mentioned earlier in the thread on the Hot UK Deals site, where people were ordering thousands of pounds worth of items! I am not judging anyone who just wanted a few gifts for people at a bargain price. I just don't see the need for anyone to order thousands of pounds worth of items for pretty much just the delivery cost, it basicaly means all the people who placed more reasonable orders miss out.

It did appear that by quoting me - your greed comment was relating to me and my order and looks as though I wasn't the only poster that interpreted it this way ;) however that was obviously not your intention as you've clarified.

I am inclined to agree with you on the bold btw

You need to brush up on you message board etiquette! :D

Quoting someone directly in your post implies you're addressing your comments to them.

I think most of us are agreed that going too OTT is quite selfish and can only be harmful in the long run, the problem is that there's always going to be a minority who take the mickey...

Thanks for that, the reason I quoted was because I agreed with what the poster said about honouring the offer. I was not implying that they had been greedy, how could I when they didn't even say they had ordered a huge amount of items?

I sincerely doubt that people will be receiving £200+ worth of stuff for £3.50. But, who knows. We'll have to wait and see. I think people who placed smaller orders are more likely to get it.

I have had orders honoured using multiple codes in the past but have never had so much money taken off as I did today so we shall see.

I ordered the cotton collection gift sets very cheaply last week using various codes and wrapping paper and gift bags using various codes and all arrived with the codes honoured...

All I meant was if everyone showed a bit of restraint and didn't order huge amounts then there was much more chance that everyone would get their items. I only ordered 4 items too, I could have bought more but I reckoned they would catch on to the glitch if everyone placed huge orders. I apologise if anyone thought I was having a go at them, I didn't intend it to sound that way. :o The 50% off books at M & S is also worth having a go at. :D

I think someone said earlier that thread had been removed.
