  • glad to hear she is ok and at least the damage is underneath, you should contact Character about the incident.
If you want to be rich, never, ever have kids ;)

oh my g**, is your daughter all right? this is warning to us all with dd's
Yes she is fine now, but was crying her eyes out, she didnt want her hair cut....but i tried with everything, tweezers, the hair was stuck at the roots and really i had no choice, I had got some out so its barely noticaeable.
But little girls are going to want to cuddle them, so yes please be careful...
Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D
  • My 5 year old has never had her hair cut and it's down to her bum....... had to take scissors to it on xmas night as she managed to tangle pipsqueak in it :( thankfully it was underneath so you can't notice it but I know it's there and it's bugging me!!
Now the hair is tied up when she wants to play with the hammies. The only fault these things have is there is no off button for when things like that happen! I too kept pressing the back - even trying to change the batteries they were trying to run away:rotfl:
Seems I'm not alone.....I wonder how many more are going to have this problem
    Glad your daughter is ok

  • It was me who had the tears cutting into her hair:rotfl:

Don't get me wrong there is a warning against this happening but kids will be kids! All she was trying to do was switch her off but wee lamb was looking for the button underneath when the wheels became tangled in her hair!

Their should be an off button though - even more so if this kind of thing is known to happen!

The whole set apart from the bed has been a hit - glad I only bought the one bed and not the set - she prefers to have one in the sleep dome and the rest in the bedroom of the house! I do want Jilly though she sounds like a hoot - might have to ice skate to argos tomorrow:D
  • Success!! Changed the batteries and pip is working grand! Thanks for the advice

Might be worth checking Argos. My local Argos had a delivery in this morning and they had all the hamsters except Mr. Squiggles.
