We have laminate floor which is great for hamster speed, but is also very good at attracting hair through static. This means hamsters collect it as they go lol
My other dilemma, as I said earlier 12 year old DD loves her 2 hamsters, only problem is she now wants to buy herself the house!! I think she may be a little too old for that but havent got the heart to say no.
Well if it's her money then.......
To be honest, the house is great...they make loads of noises and stuff and it's good to see them going up and down...I'm in my 30's and I think the house is a great thing to play with.....
If she loses interest then she loses interest...it's only £20 - I could see your point if she was wanting to buy a £250 games console or something!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
You're never too old for Hamsters - they have a cult following!!!!!:D0 -

Jilly is definitely our favourite, she does random things ... she'll just start making 'kiss' noises, etc even when no-one is playing with her. She is so much fun :jSealed Pot Challenge Member 1273VSP 2011 Member 92 - 723.070 -

I spent half an hour untangling Chuck from me daughters hair as her jealous big sis decided it would be be fun to put it on her head!!!!.....All the time i'm trying to untangle i kept pressing the damn things back, setting him off again....and ironicly reading the warning underneath him to keep away from hair......gave up after half an hour and got the scissors out....blummin things!Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0

My 5 year old has never had her hair cut and it's down to her bum....... had to take scissors to it on xmas night as she managed to tangle pipsqueak in itthankfully it was underneath so you can't notice it but I know it's there and it's bugging me!!
Now the hair is tied up when she wants to play with the hammies. The only fault these things have is there is no off button for when things like that happen! I too kept pressing the back - even trying to change the batteries they were trying to run away:rotfl:0
