Hammies still holding interest here.
Dd has asked for the slide, wheel and car....wonder when they'll be available online/in shops.
you can pre-order them from the findmeagift website, it looks like they may have stock mid January and it would appear that they are the rrp and not overpricedSealed Pot Challenge Member 1273VSP 2011 Member 92 - 723.070 -
My Num Nums and Pipsqueek have stopped moving round but still make sounds, I also have Chunk who is fine.
Is anyone going to try and return these hamsters as faulty ? I don't want to fork out another £10 each for it to happen again.Born and bred in Manchester (proud of it)
Now living on the other side of the Pennines0 -

Just picked up a Jilly at toysrus, there were 3 hamsters on the shelve but no sign of Jilly so went to look at playmobil and someone had dumped Jilly on the playmobil sheve, dd1 was made up and is now playing with her.
Chunk and Jilly seem to be working really well, Pipsqueek keeps stopping but after a rest he seems ok.0 -
My girls don't get on with the ball at all, it's too fiddley so I intend to swop it for a the skateboard seeing as the hammies look so funny going across the carpet on their surfboard. PM me anyone.
The rest of the set is a huge hit, the hammies are even strong enough to push open the doors to the house and escape, we have four and sometimes its bedlam in our lounge trying to control them all. Such fantastic fun (for the kids as well lol)If you want to be rich, never, ever have kids0 -
if any of the hamsters are not as fast as the others or not making as many noises make sure you change the batteries as the ones you get with the hamster when you buy it are only test batteries and dont last long.
We played with ours on christmas eve and and they ran out pretty quick, chunk stoped moving bit was still making noise and pipsqueak sopped making noises but still moved, albeit alot slower. When we put in new batteries you could really see the difference.March 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000 -

Also my cat keeps killing it and trying to drag it away....which makes her cry. Mad house!
No, they don't all say go go go...they all have different personalities and will say and do different things.
The yellow one is Pipsqueak and she's a girl and the white one is Chunk and he's a boy:D0 -
Gilly is incredible, singing all the time and saying loopy things, by far my favouriteIf you want to be rich, never, ever have kids0

can I say, if you have slow hamsters, check that there is no hair wound around the wheels.
We have laminate floor which is great for hamster speed, but is also very good at attracting hair through static. This means hamsters collect it as they go lol
My other dilemma, as I said earlier 12 year old DD loves her 2 hamsters, only problem is she now wants to buy herself the house!! I think she may be a little too old for that but havent got the heart to say no.0
