I ordered Thurs & Fri & recieved both on Monday, Thurs delivery by sum random delivery guy at 8:10am then Fri order on Monday night at 7:30pm by DHL so who knows what going on & their never gonna tell you:mad:

Really hope all your orders turn up

You may recall I had the same issue with my disabled Mr Squiggles. I got mine from Tesco online a few weeks ago. All customer services could do was set their advisors system to notify them when they came back into stock then they were going to reserve one for me, then we could arrange the exchange. The listed hamsters yesterday so I rang them to arrange the exchange, they said unfortunately unveknown to them the e mail alert system (they use the same system as we do) had been turned off due to the 20,000+ requests, and so they hadn't been able to reserve me a replacement. I spoke to the head honcho who tried their best to get me one but eventually they had to admit defeat and told me that as they were not expecting any more hammies before Xmas, that my only options were to hang on and exchange after christmas or take it to the shop I collected it from for a refund. So I suppose what I'm saying is, you might be better going for a refund and look elsewhere for a replacement.

I was wondering this too - are they going to go up or down on the run up to xmas?! I reckon the last week of xmas they will be sky high prices!

So if we aren't confident of getting them RRP when oh when should we choose the ebay route?

Hi been late night shopping up this evening...went and fetched my hammies from Tesco!! Poppedinto smyths in walsall and they had 11 houses right in front of the counter! Nothing else anywhere though.....hope this helps somebody in the midlands

i ordered at 9.35 and it has been sent via royal mail but i have not recieved it yet. i think that there must be some disshonest people working for royal mail or maybe im just synical?

If u do end up going down that route please remember if you wait until xmas week you run the risk of not getting in time for xmas as RM will be snowed under & prob will deliver a lot of items late...............they can't cope just now so what chance they got xmas week!!!

i would hold out till character has had stock as i'm sure its been said somewhere their expecting stock on 18th & hopefully get it out to the shops on time.

Yep! Feel better for it, missed going twice this week already because I was accessory hunting I wish you could go on MSE in there!

Thank you! I will wait til the 18th and hopefully manage to get somewhere but with me starting work at 8am every day I am worried I won't get there in time Especially as places don't seem to be reserving anymore

If I did have to leave it til Xmas week (fingers crossed it won't come to this!! I have 1 hammie plus house and 2 kids!!) I work for a courier so would arrange a collection within the company next day delivery to work Would cost me about £10 but needs must in desperate times lol.

How did I not join this hunt earlier?!! I am also on a DS hunt! God help me!

Haha that would be soooo good! My dad works at my gym...... I may suggest it! Lol

I missed going on Weds as I was hammie trekking to Makro who falsely advertised that they had 38 in stock!!! Damn these hammies taking up our gym time!
