I have been involved in writing a number of stock checkers and although what you say sounds good - I think you may be making things look a bit greener than what they are.

For those who are unsure what the OP is referring to, a stock checker, can check stock at a particular site at a time specified. So you could set it at say 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes etc. Argos have over 600 stores and it would take a processor more than a few seconds to send out a request and get back a report (especially at peak times - xmas), as well as checking all the other shops at the same time. To say a report will come back checking all 600 stores within a few seconds, is *****

I have no involvement with the sites that have been running this year, but to check stock every 60 seconds, as has been the case, and then alert you of stock has been more than sufficient for more than 99% of people. So well done to those concerned (oh yes I know you have had a kick back from affilate programs, but hey that is well earned).

The status on mine was changed to 'Pedido Entregado' once it had left El Corte and was with DHL. Ive had 2 orders with them now and this is the process that it has shown on screen. Hopefully yours is on its way and they just havent updated their system. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

Just want to say a HUGE thans to everyone that is currently on here/has been on here, without them I definately wouldnt have done as well as I have with my hammie hunt. Hopefully most of you will all have been as succesful as me.

Morning everyone ...I had a dream last night that I looked in the cupboard and I had loads of hamster accesories slides wheels funhouses etc and I thort omg what am I going to do with all these its nearly christmas, So I sold them on ebay for £6.99 for the lot and everyone was cheering lol ....weird

and until half an hour ago a missing spanish set but apparently its in Reading and will be on the next van so thats it for me.

I just want to say a sincere happy christmas to everyone on this site, I never did get any of the stock that emptied in minutes because my computer was too slow but the comradeship has been fantastic.

Vicky have you got your spanish set now? thank you for your friendship, I for one will have the best of christmas's as I can't do anything except play with my girls and their hammies and hobble around on my crutches. LUCKY ME. Happy Christmas everyone.
