Hi all
Pleased to say all my hammie stuff has now arrived. Having spent last night sleeping in a shopping centre (due to weather conditions and all hotels within achievable walking distance being booked solid)....I am not buying another thing. Anything not bought is not being bought.
Hope you all got everything you wanted (hammie and other presents), and hope you all have a great Christmas.

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and to thank all the people who have helped me get my hamster bits and pieces:T. Waiting on Mr Squiggles who I hope will be here tomorrow.
Wondering whether DD will be sneaking them in her case to take to
Disney Paris(as long as the Eurostar's running!)
Well have a good one everybody and here's hoping our children have as much fun with these hamsters as we have had trying to track them down:D0 -

TRU Southampton had about 100 of the four new hamsters @ 1630 hrs today. Limit 2 per customer.
TRU Bath Road,Bristol had 1 x Jilly and about 7 of each of the other new hamsters at 2145 hrs tonight.0 -

I don't use the stock checker websites which are available to everyone. They are limited and too slow to pick up when a retailer has stock as you have seen with TRU and Argos. Some people might argue this if they've had success using them.
Anyway, I have written my own checker which runs 24/7 and is very effective and alerts me within a few seconds if a product is in stock. Then it usually takes a minute to order.:D
I have enough go go items to make dd happy on Christmas day and don't need anymore especially not the new hammies, otherwise, when does it stop. But I know a lot of people are struggling to find accessories and it feels good to help others during this festive season. Ho Ho Ho :santa2::A0 -

Yes, its a shame it wasn't the John Lewis store in High Wycombe that opened up its bed department to staff and customers that were stranded by the snow, looked like a good place to be stranded.I haven't invited 'you lot' to Christmas Dinner since [STRIKE]2005[/STRIKE] 2004 if I remember rightly:rotfl: - well maybe another Argos amazing 75% sale with a couple of £42 LCD TVs could persuade me again:rotfl:
Difficult to believe it was that long ago, happy days :j
I was in Argos last night and asked to see a hamster to see what all the fuss was about, thought my cat might like one, but they had none in stock.0 -
