lol! It's funny you've brought up car seats as I've been looking at buggies and car seats for the new baby online today. I thought my old car seat from dd would be ok but the woman in the shop a few weeks ago gave me a stern telling off! lol :)

Why wouldnt it be ok??? I used my DD car seat for my DS.

Thanks - I have looked on Halfords (who have offers at mo) and Mothercare and Argos and TRU, Kiddcare etc- I just wondered if anyone could give me any honest reviews about any of them. I was looking at the Britax Trio but altho it looks like it would be comfy now i am wondering whether it is worth the extra money or should i wait and get another basic Graco when he is over 4........

is this any use to you?

Apparently the foam etc degrades and makes them unsafe (according to store assistant). In all fairness there's going to be 5 yrs difference between dd and baby so probably need a new one anyway. Apparently they have expiry dates (just looked on yahoo questions). I was totally unaware about any of this until a few weeks ago :D xxx

probably because you were doing her out of buying a new one
there is nothing wrong with using them unless they have been in an accident.

Yeah, I've got a zapp from when dd was little but they are no good for small babies. I like the carrycot for the quinny buzz. Will definately look at Phil and teds though- thanks :D xxx

We also had problems with the car and garage with all the hamsters where they look like they are trying to sniff the roof lol BUT new batteries sorted this out and the hamsters are much louder now and drive the car perfectly every time :D
Ah thanks, so it might just be that they need full power to be able to push the car.

    Thanks

I was looking at them as a cheaper option - the netting i see at the side of the seat - is that for cups to sit in..... my Graco one has proper cup holders so i know he'll probably want them too
Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
    2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68

A big thanks to you MSE'ers - especially Maximouse :A
