What do you mean? All it shows is the hamsters, playsets, beds and ball??

I have paid the £9.95 so it can't be anything more expensive than that?

Not that it matters as I only have the playset anyway (and the 4 hamsters) so anything else is a bonus

I think what they were trying to warn people about is the picture of the ball on the John Lewis website is just used to depict the 'playsets' which could be the surfboard, skateboard, or ball. When you click to buy on the page with the picture of the ball, you are not def buying a ball, you are buying a playset and they randomly pick them out in the warehouse so you don't know which one you will get. Ringing John Lewis to state a preference doesn't work as customer services have no control of the picking in the warehouse. So basically if anyone buys 'the ball' on John Lewis, don't get too excited cos it might not be the ball.

Oh thats ok then they're only a little bit toxic ,lol (goes running out to buy her kids some )
I predict a mass recall in the new year but the kids will probably be bored of them by then anyway ;)

They would only recall them now if there was a remote chance of harming the kids. Not next year when damage might be done and a big court case for damages.

Also, Good Morning all... and did I miss some JL play sets? :(

When you buy a playset on JL you get a random item out of the ball, skateboard or suftboard. Although the picture they show is the ball - it doesn't mean you get that!! All the playsets are 9.99 ish for RRP. The add ons are a bit more.
Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
    2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68

A big thanks to you MSE'ers - especially Maximouse :A

Don't forget the possibility of lead in wall paint. And don't get me started on wallpaper paste...

If your kids are licking walls, I think you might want to get that checked out first lol.

Isnt that dangerous too, theres all sorts of chemicals in them walls, plus there's the added downside of staring at a plian / patterned wall for a long time it could damage their eyes.
