For those of you with the hamster beds - do you rate them??? I can't decide whether to buy them when they are back in the shops or whether to go for the home made ones on ebay as some of them look really snug on there.

    Thoughts???

I got a home made one for DS's Hammie, looks really nice.

They are nice, very vibrant colours, soft feel for little hands. My daughters hammies are all tucked up with the blankets over them :D I would say the beds are better than the carriers, seems to me more for your money as the bed is fleece lined.

  • I know i can see what you are saying if you bought everything separately. Just annoys me, ebayers exploiting the desperate (I can talk, I did get my ball off there, but waited for a good deal!). Luckily I walked into tru a couple of months ago and purchased what I wanted at rrp with no postage costs for my daughters birthday, why I didn't get a ball when i saw them I don't know :p.

Try Zhu Zhu pets for the US listings.

It annoys me too but we have to do the orders seperate because by the time you try to put something else into your basket its all sold out plus at TRU they freeze 4 x the amount of your invisable order

My friend has just started looking (I have been telling her for weeks lol) and I managed to get her a house this morning but she plans on getting the rest off ebay as she cant spend all day online like I was. Ebay prices seem to be low at the minute so im wondering if its best to buy now or wait it out a bit more
 I love my gorgeous little girl

Can i really justify paying another £28 for 4 beds........5.99 BIN on ebay plus £4.60 total packing.......or do i wait and pay 4.99 for the real thing from the shops after Xmas potentially - the real go go beds look a little thinner than some of the ones on ebay - oh decision decisions......
Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
    2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68

Prices seem to be on the rise again.
Certainly cars/slides/wheels are only going to get more expensive as are
    surfboards/skaters/balls.

Hamsters difficult to know. Seems like they been selling for about £20 for the last week or so

I could post a few close up photos of the real thing if you want...? Don't know if that would help
