Dear Mrs
Thank you for your recent e-mail.
Please accept our apologies for the difficulties you report whilst trying to place an order online. Toys R Us do require a CV2 number as this is a further attempt, by us to prevent card fraud and to protect our customers. This number is found on the signature strip on the reverse of the card. It is usually a collection of digits, but we only require the last three for authorisation.
Should our request to authorise your card be refused, you may find that funds have been reserved on your card by Toys R Us Direct. Your card provider will have received notification from our authentication services to release any funds reserved by Toys R Us, no monies will be taken from your account should this be the case. The reservation of funds will expire, however, we cannot provide a timescale for this to be actioned as each card provider is different.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but please be assured that you have not placed an order with Toys R Us Direct.
Should you continue to experience difficulties, please contact one of our Customer Service Advisors who should be able to offer further assistance. You can contact Toys R Us Direct on: 08457 869778. Lines are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm Saturday and 9am to 5pm Sunday.
Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us again soon.
Kind regards,
Carly Beardsley

they sent this email to me about a week ago when i complained about my paypal funds being in limbo. the email is nothing to do with paypal payments.
they're still messing me about with a refund for 4 hamsters that didnt turn up. i think trading standards should get involved, they've taken a lot of people's money and its seems a lot of stuff hasnt arrived at people's houses. also- should they be able to claim on the website that packages will need a signature when they're just firing stuff out in grey plastic mailing bags and jiffy bags via unrecorded 2nd class post.
not very impressed with royal mail leaving people's parcels outside their houses either.
on a happier note- have noticed the sets with the carrier, half house, wheel, slide and patches are quite reasonable from international sellers on ebay at the moment. :jJuly- coconut body shop body butter, pom bear football, mini johnsons lotion, Sally Hansen nail treatments0 -
