  • Hi Happy,

    Hmm.....

Creative ordering is when you can maximise the benefits of your customers not making the most of the current offers and/or even just consolidating your customers' orders i.e. :

    * sometimes customers only order one or two items, which are subject to a '3 for 2' offer (you get the choice to point out to them that they qualify for an extra free product or you can claim it yourself - your choice)
    * sometimes customers order just one or two items at full price when very clearly at the top of the page it will say '2 for £12/5 for £5' (or anything in between).

Equally, if you split your customers between your current and back campaign then quite often you'll find that customers order something, which is cheaper in the other campaign. Just takes a bit of jiggerypokery and you can end up with either free/cheap product and/or extra commission.

Up to you whether you keep the benefits to yourself or make sure your customers get the best deal possible. Each to their own...... (In my second campaign someone ordered four of a product because they loved it and hadn't had access to an Avon rep for a while - the order form quoted 4 x £3.75 = £15 but very clearly at the top of the page was the offer '5 for £5'. My SL said I was wrong to do what I did but I went back and asked if, considering how they loved the product so much, whether they'd be happy to order 5 rather than 4. Immediately they asked if it was on offer (turns out it was the daughter ordering for her mother) and I was honest. They got an extra product, saved £10, I still got some commission but a customer who trusts me to make sure she gets a good deal! :j

  • Sorry, forgot the second part of your post....

You can do whatever you like alongside Avon - gather there are lots of options. I do Betterware too, which is a bit of a slog but sometimes they dovetail i.e. I hand out Betterware brochures whilst walking up to my Avon given territory. Do find that some of my Avon customers like Betterware too so, occasionally, I get to pick up two orders at the same time ane/or because Betterware books are free I get to find new Avon customers by 'littering' the area with Betterware books.

31st of January is only for online returns. Paper returns need to be done the previous October.

yes forgot that bit thanks! I did mine online, and it was pretty simple. I did it in rough on the paper copy and then copied it onto the website. It tells you straight away how much you owe, and gives you various options for paying which I thought was good, as at least you aren't wondering how much you might have to pay, you know there and then!

I'd suggest looking in your local paper for an advert (theres usually one), and when you contact them ask various questions - you'll soon see from their answers (compared to what we tell you on here!) if they are any good or not. Ask them what help & support they will give you, if they run any incentives for their reps, and just some general questions about being a rep and see what their reply is.
