I usually do my returns in returns book decided to use online and print them. can i print off a few and put all the stuff in the one box. DO i need carrier to sign all the forms or just one.

Am still relatively new to this too but have never actually used the returns book. So far I've always done my returns online and it only ever necessitated one form. You add credits, save them until you've finished and then apply for them as one item i.e. only needs one sheet completing. You fill one part in, the computer automatically fills in a second/duplicate copy (which the driver/collector signs to acknowledge receipt). You just add in the items, date and bar code of your returns label. The driver/collector takes it away when he delivers your next order. Easy peasy....

I usually end up with a few forms each time - I always think I've got all my returns in, submit...and then low and behold something else needs returning lol! You can do lots of forms, but all in the same box & same barcode number for all without a problem, thats what I always do x
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

Never thought about putting more than one form/set of returns in the same box (Doh!); previously, have sent back two boxes! (Double Doh!) Will bear in mind for the next time - thanks.

  • Really really need to get motivated with Avon this year!!!!

My one really good customer that gets loads of orders from her work for me has gone on maternity leave and said she doesnt want a book for a while. Hoping that she does come back to me when ready but now have to work extra hard to cover the orders i'll be losing. I always get around £100 worth of orders per campaign so alot to lose.

Off for a few days next week so will recanvass area but not holding my breath cos i've recanvassed loads of times with little success but worth a go.

Also got a few Anew items that I'll try on ebay before sending them back. Has anyone tried this? Have had a quick look and there are some being sold on there but the prices are super low. Cant go that low or i'll be making a loss. Rather send them back that make a loss.

    Happy new year to everyone

Take it slowly, slowly, GTS. I try and aim to get 1-2 new customers each campaign. (Doesn't always work but I find that new customers are the ones, who actually order.:j )

Did hear about E-Bay but never sold anything that way and can't imagine that it would be that profitable.

Depending on how much time you have available, it may be worth you exploring Betterware too? It's surprising how the clientele dovetail - not always but if you're going to your territory then you may as well see if they're interested in B too.... B brochures are free so it can be an effective way of finding new Avon customers too. ;)

  • Thanks MarsdenCuckoo think you are right about the 1-2 customer aim. seems more achievable. Will give it a go and build up slowly.

Going to give ebay a go tonight or tom. Have got a few anew items from telecontact offer (just made PC this yr so not sure if this is why i keep getting them) thought worth a go to see if I can sell them. Will also get some little stickers I think and offer them to customers at a cheaper rate. They get a bargain and I still get a sale and a smaller cut. Worth a go i suppose and if all else fails, i'll send them back.

Fingers crossed to all for good sales this yr :T

okay so i applied for a credit on christmas eve and the item was sent back on the 30th and im sure it still hasnt been credited to my account. Is there anyway I can see on my account whether it has been credited for certain (im getting a little confused as a i have a pending balance and they did credit my account on the 21st for another return)....However im fairly certain it hasnt happened. Should i wait or ring tomorrow, im wondering if it has got forgotten cos of all the holidays

Good luck getting any sense out of Customers Services over the phone.... Unless you're a PC member then in my experience it's like banging your head against a wall (nice when it stops :rotfl:) I tend to keep track of my own credits and just pay off what I know I owe - eventually Avon's records catch up with me. With the two very quick campaigns coming up though, am guessing 'some' confusion may arise.

Is there no trace of your credit under 'order tracking'? If you applied for credit online then it should show your Returns note pdq; sorry, know nothing about postal credits/orders.

    Good luck again.

Thanks, Marsden Cuckoo, I am a new Rep, have done 2 camps so far and tbh was thinking of not bothering again as I have managed to get a grand total of THREE customers, with a couple of promises. Have been surprised by so little gain for so much leg work, but if you're saying you only pick customers up gradually, I might try for a few more camps.

The other thing that really surprised me is how hard it is to get brochures back!
Having to go back several times, people not answering the door (when you can see them!) and people who have no idea where it is , in the bin I suspect.

Anyway, I do have a question or two if anyone is feeling kindly. I have some items to return so should I knock this off the amount I pay and if I do will they still release my next pitiful order?
And as it's only small items can I just parcel them up instead of using the big box they came in?
    Many thanks in advance.
Can't stop - addicted to the shindig.
