Just finished my second campaign (18) and it was £446! which im well pleased about! The only thing I wasn't so chuffed about was getting a message from my asm to pay £220 before my order can be processed! :( Does this always happen? Im confused?! And it doesn't help when its so close to xmas and I just dont have that much cash available!

well done thats great for a second camp. did you have to pay anything the first time? I had to pay the first time but i assumed the limit increased each time. i dont know if its there so that we dont just order thousands and run off without paying lol or what. but yes its normal....but it shouldnt happen again

  • phia2000, no I never had to pay anything upfront on my first order and was never aware of a credit limit by my ASM when I first started up?! What is the credit limit?

    Hi Becky
I think this may have something to do with your credit limit; I haven't had this before but someone may be along who can elaborate on this. May be worth asking your ASM what your credit limit is; I know it does increase the more campaigns you complete.

    Hi

They usually give you a credit limit for the first few campaigns of between £200 and £500, I guess yours was at the lower end. It is only at the start they do this to see if you pay on time before upping it.

They decide the limit on you credit check and circumstances I think, You won't have any trouble with it after a few campaigns but that dosen't help now does it?. Can't you ask you asm to up it as you can't pay it this near to christmas in advance. Worth a try, she can only say no.

Whoops, I started to answer and went away for a couple of minutes before posting and then saw all the other posters before me. I am new at this and didn't realise there were so many on at the same time

firstly with the products that were unavailaible you dont have to credit them. they just wont charge you for them. (can someone clarify that please..otherwise ive paid for alot of things that havent turned up lol)

i take cheques from my customers, as long as they have the cheque guarantee card number on the back, address, details etc. however some 'dodgy' customers i wouldnt tell them i can take cheques just incase. OR take the cheque and say you cant give them the order until its cleared.

anyway, if this customer doesnt pay up..a day or 2 before you submit your next order add them on as credits, pay off your total (minus credits), print off your returns form and then you can package the goods up and give them to your delivery driver when he brings your next order.

IF in the time between crediting them and returning them the customer pays you can give her her order and avon will recharge you for them next time.

Thanx Phia!! so if i've got this right now...
customer wants delivery of c18 7pm fri dec 11th
next order deadline c1 also fri dec 11th
going out for meal so will deliver on way...
I've a real hunch she wont be in so pay avon c18 minus customers goods £48
    get the £48 credited
if customer pays, i dont return them and avon charges me on c2

You need a degree for this lot!! Good news is I've 4 vouchers for £5 for c2 thru creative ordering and 5 products valued about £25 for me or creative ordering in future! Yeh!! Will have to continue as far as c2 to use them! Clever Avon.....

Great forum, thanx to all the posters x

Yes it showed the rep voucher without adding anything and I ordered 2 x 89805 but only showing one of them also

I would send an email asking about it, don't wait for your order to arrive as I think you have to apply using the voucher then wait for it to be delivered so it might not arrive before christmas if you wait until you get your delivery.

Good news about your order! I've just had my fifth, and I still haven't had one all correct yet :D
And I never ordered that kit as my ASM told me not too.... bit glad I didn't now :)

  • I was going to get the bag anyway so thought I may as well get the samples. But it's mostly paper bags and order forms. Oh well, I'll at least get some use out of them!
