I have noticed over the past year that little bits of money 50p there a few quid here and there keep going from my account. I have no overdraft, I dont use my account, I am not charged to use it so it should remain static. I am the first to admit I dont check my statements because I dont really use the account but each time the money has been given back to me when I queried it. I dont have a card for the account as I have been meaning to close it for ages..........0

Simply just drop the +44 and stick a 0 on the "abroad" number so that it becomes 01908 680123 and ring away from your phone.
It'll mean that you won't have to shell out silly amounts to call from your mobile phone or landline. It'll be the cost of a normal landline call, which could be nothing, depending on your phone tarriff.0 -

That gave me a giggle. Nice one.
Only thing is, the complaints generally doesn't actually deal with complaints. Maybe he should try dropping into a branch if he is in need of some light relief!Santander - usted puede silbar para su dinero0 -
I am so interested to read this. I went through a period of a few months when I was checking my bank account every morning. I was on a very tight budget and passed a cash machine on my way into work. There were several occasions when I had made a payment with my debit card I checked the following morning and an odd amount would be missing eg, spent £9 on card and balance would be £32 down! I went into the branch every time it happened and each time I was told that it was probably a glitch and that the amoung would "drop" back in the following day. It always did reappear but I think it was because I would constantly go into the bank. Just this last week I have noticed it has happened again. I have had a lot of money going through my account due to house selling/buying so have been a bit obsessed again. I wonder how many times it happens when people arent checking their accounts daily if the amount disappears from the statemnt.
Definitely some thing not right there. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0
