Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

It's a slightly different procedure with Mac OS X
Sometime in the new year I'll get around to using the mac mini I bought and then I'll maybe be able to speak Jobsian too. Or maybe not. I know trying to figure out which keys to use without a proper Mac keyboard was a bit of a pita when I first had a go with it.

Seems that with Mac OS X you just highlight the graphic with your mouse, then right-click (or CONTROL-click) and select "Copy Image Address" from the drop-down menu to put it on your clipboard. Then go to insertimage.gif (Yo! ) in the menu bar of the MSE reply window, click on that, use COMMAND-V to insert the stored URL into the box and click OK.

It's worth getting a modern Mac keyboard to use with your mini: it's got the @ and the " symbols in the right place and it has the additional keys for controlling functions of the Mac.

For keying-in text, however, I don't much like the swish aluminium ones (beautiful as they are) and I prefer the previous generation such as this:

    2j2cm0j.jpg

(Now how do I make the bloody image smaller when it's inserted? :o :wall: )

The Bluetooth ones (and mice) are great with a laptop when it's being used on a desk but you need to keep a USB wired version (of each) handy with a Mac that has no inbuilt keyboard because if/when the Bluetooth connection needs to be reset you have to have a direct inputting device in order to do it!

Many thanks, again, for your help with this. I :heart2: it!
