i do miss the trafford centre now we've moved. there's nothing to compete down here :(

    Morning starnac
It takes her about the same time to get to Trafford as it does to get into the city centre (She does like to drive fast :rotfl:, hope stunty doesn't see this :D) Plus she doesn't have to pay for parking :j

  • Hi all sealed pot people! I have to count out my pot - it's not very much this year - we only have a small amount left each week but I try to put some in - but also have to raid occasionally for change for going to the fair(!) etc... will post my last year's total soon - and try harder this year! I keep lurking but don't have much time to post - sorry! Have a great holiday season!
    Sealed Pot 617 - target £150 only managed £27 in 2009!
  • Well excited about starting this challenge, and my wife loves it even more because she has been threatening to bin all the loose change I leave around the house!! She now has strict instructions to 'pop it in the pot' because I am useless at putting in my wallet!!

Will 'start officially' on New Year's Day, but I already know I have some change in my bedside drawers.

  • Sorry, me again!! Just counted the change to start the pot. It adds up as follows:
£3.44 in a change bag that I knew I had (1p 2p 5p), £2.73 in by bedside drawer which I had no idea that I had! Along with 39p that I had lying around.

So my starting pot for 2010 currently has a grand total of £6.56

(Off to town now, I currently have £4 in change in my pocket. I've set a deal for myself that any change I come back with will also go in the pot!)

  • Morning everyone.

I found £5 on my very messy dresser - which must have been mine, but it was unexpected and I popped it into the pottie. I also 'found' 2 x golden coins on hubby's dresser which I fed to the piggy-wig. He is getting heavy, but i still think he will take a couple of years to fill:eek::eek::eek:

Sue - I'm off to Russia (not Poland;)) tomorrow. We fly at 9.30am so have an early start. I'm slightly worried that it will be too cold over there - -15 on the bbc.:eek::eek: Oh well, will have to get on the voddie to keep me warm;)

Anyways we're off to the shops today as Mr LC needs a coat for our trip. Hopefully I'll get some change.

Have a fab New Year - stay safe and I'll see you all in 2010.:beer::beer:
