Right, I have to confess I haven't got round to counting the money in the whiskey bottle or the pink pig So I'm going tosay there's about £5 in there and add it to this years total... and another 24p added today

Decided to have a pot for collecting silver and notes and a pot for 1 and 2 pence pieces. When the small change pot is full will cash it in and put the money in the other pot. Well thats the plan anyway!;)

rustysmart - if you're saving money in a Terramumdi pot it doesn't mean that you have to smash it to get it out. Use a knife with the pot at an angle and you still have your lovely pot to start again with next year.

Hi Everyone!

First off, really sorry for the late MERRY XMAS, but I'll get in early with a HAPPY NEW YEAR!! December has ended with mixed blessings for us with my DM being taken seriously ill and things are very much on a knife edge at the moment. However, she was discharged back to her Nursing Home for Christmas and we were able to spend all of Christmas morning with her -visiting in hospital was alot more restricted. Obviously had to cancel a small Pre Xmas break DH and I had planned -but not worried about that at all.
I have still been stoically adding pennies to my pottery piggy in attempt not to lose the plot and hope to come back in the new year on a more positive note. So to all of you, I wish you a Peaceful and Happy New Year and very heavy sealed pots:D and to everyone who has been feeling poorly, get better soon x

Ah thanks elizabunny! I couldn't think what it was that just wouldn't let me enjoy Christmas as I should be doing, now I see what it is - I hadn't had your greetings!!!

So sorry to hear about your poor Mum, I really do hope she'll be able to recover. It's a hard time I know so I really can sympathise with you. A very Happy New Year to you all too!
