Hi all, freezing cold and snowy here in Merthyr too, had about £12 in change from last night so that's in the box. Also had an early Christmas present this morning, a speeding ticket through the door, was doing 38mph in a 30 zone. Anyone have any idea how much its gonna cost me? They've only asked for my name and address atm...

    Happy saving all, Paul.

Evening all, Quickie post as I'm struggling to keep my peepers open after a truely horrible week.............long story. Managed a few pennies in the pottery piggy though. Just sorry I haven't been able to keep up with all your posts. GREAT TOTAL FOR 2009. Thanks Sue and Sparky for all your dedication and keeping us on track. Off to bed now and hoping for a calmer few days before Christmas.

My husband had 9 points  over 3 yrs ago now but never had to go to court . If I remember right fines were 30/40 quid if paid within 2 weeks then went double for the next 2 weeks and after that I think it was court but we always paid within 2 wks.

Only 1.17 in the pot for me today.

    Hi All,
Hope it's all right to join you guys - I have set myself a challenge to pay for my lift pass (about £160) when I go skiing in March from my sealed pot (a cat money box I got for Xmas last year) and dooyoo/survey vouchers if I need to use them.

After I get back I'll start all over again with a new challenge!
