    Good morning EVERYONE
Welcome to our newest members. Sue if it's OK with you I'm going to stop wearing the high heels, they play havoc with my calf's. Spent the £25 M&S voucher we found in Shrewsbury last night buying goodies for my DW, which she picked also had a £5 off voucher from Oxfam which meant that £36 worth of goods cost me £6 in all YAY!

The big count is tomorrow folks, so don't forget to pop your totals into your signatures for me, the spreadsheet is ready and waiting

Get well wrapped up today, stay safe and keep saving everyone

I hope you had a wonderful day in London, though a wonder there was any left after my DGD went up last Saturday. Oh to be sweet 16 again eh, bless em :)

Hi LC 2, point taken about the snacks and matchsticks, I think I'll need em too for tonight - can't see me sleeping too much somehow. I always get so excited and sleep just doesn't come easy. Still, it's only once a year...so let it come!!! :j:j:j:j

HI - well I went food shopping today - I only wanted to spend £40 but as the dogs food came to £20 and i needed some cleaning products it just wasnt destined to happen! I took out £30 to add to the £20 hubby recieved from work yesterday and still ended up putting £10 on the card as it came to over £50, however that then meant I had change for my pot :) put £7 into my cinders tin and some shrapnel into the whiskey jar.

anyway i actually enjoyed the shopping as i had time to look around and work out if the 'offers' were actually worth what they say they are! some are not! i.e the muller corners a 6 pack was over £3 on offer 2 for just over £6 but you could buy 3 for £1 so that offer would be cheaper than the multi packs. Also I got heinz beans 6 pack over the 'value' beans as that was on offer and worked out cheaper than the home brand value ones for a change, teabags were on offer and made more sense to buy 3 boxes of 80 over one box of 240 by about 80p ish
Not much in the reduced section today but apparently after the mentioning of snow yesterday people were panic buying! madness!! blimey if they saw what was in my cupboards that can last me a week they would think they were going to starve and not even get a days food out of it!!

Looking forward to seeing all the totals tomorrow! cant believe i will actually manage to save for a whole year and not open it!! will definately be giving it my best shot though!
