Haven't been here lately, but am stil dropping coins in the pot on a regular basis. Sometimes forget to update my sig. - but that's not all bad, just means a nicer surprise on the big day of opening.

Best of luck to everyone else.

Dropped some more small change in to my bottle last night, and some coppers in to the 'work' tin. Not working at the bar any more but I expect I'll still be able to collect some floor change at the new job too.

Another 4 X £2 coins & 1 X 50P for Summer 2011 spending fund, don't know how much is in there but it'll make life easier next July! Also putting £4.47 into my sealed pot when I escape from work. I picked up 1p off the floor today, so that's in my road change jar later!

Enjoy the rest of Friday everyone, stay safe and keep saving

  • Firstly apologies - I don't think I've ever posted on this thread, even though I have a number!

I'm very sad to say I'm going to have to withdraw from the fun. We had our pots (plural! we were doing so well!) stolen, so the game is over for this year.

    Sob.
:mad::mad: So sorry to hear that, some people are such scumbags:(

Please can I join? Our sealed pot is for a vw camper for DH to do up. When the tin is full we will pay it into a bank account and start over until there is enough to buy one......have started it off with loads of loose change I found round the house - probably £4 or £5 :D

Wow. what a fab cause:T:T:T Hope we'll get some updates on the progress.:A

Sorry sue - I've been AWOL again, been busy with work and then lots of social things this week. Tonight I top them all off with a birthday bash for a friend.:j

Well, I didn't borrow and money from the pottie this month which is good news and have been diligently adding to it.

I've found a few 5ps on the roadkill front. Think they're the 'new' 1p as I haven't found one of those for ages.:rotfl:

Off to pick up my friend's cake shortly so who knows what I might find then.

And I'm loving all the pics of the pups. am sooooooooo jealous. LCxxx

PS: speak to you all tomorrow, when I expect to be thoroughly hungover.:p:p:p

    Afternoon everyone
£1.35 road change while walking the dog, 2 X £2 coins and 3 X 50p coins for Summer 2011 spending fund. about £3 and change into my (very full) sealed pot. On the down side my scooter cost £180 to repair, it needed a new exhaust and a service (thank heavens for all the overtime I've done recently!) DW has just "donated" 47p to the sealed pot too. Hoping to get out and about on the scooter tomorrow, so if anybody is near Prescot we'll be at deane's House pub from 12:30 onwards.

Have a great Saturday night and Sunday, stay safe and keep saving
