Well I never cashed the money in. :A I sealed the tin up again. I've got a new tin now and continue to put in at least £1 per day. I will cash them both in on 1 December as was my initial plan. The money will be used for Christmas and for some new clothes for myself after the baby is born.
My OH was really impressed. He now has 2 tins on the go - 1 is to save for his van insurance and the other for his public liability insurance (he is self employed). He is putting £1 in each everyday and that will cover both bills over the year. He absolutely hates paying these insurances so this will make life a bit more pleasant. Of course being a man he and being newly fangled he is a bit obsessed with it and is chucking in much more than the 2 x £1 per day. :rotfl:0 -
Hiya everyone, I'm still here, slowly potting the pennies. Had such a hectic few months that I haven't been able to post, but I still have my eye on the pot. Hope everyone is still doing ok.Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin
