I've had to open my pot for my holiday spends, we go on Thursday! I had £274 in it!! Feel a bit depressed at the thought of starting from scratch again, well have left a few bits and bobs in it so it's not completely empty.
Hello GBN
At least you had it in there already saved, you don't have to scrape around trying to find money, so just enjoy your hols and have a great timeSparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. Total for SPC3 £1,030.57 Total For SPC 4 £2247.00 Total for SPC 5 £2574.62 :T Total for SPC 6 £4552.91:T

Nothing today. spent £20 on a good cause. DD got an outstanding end of year report. She's such a clever girl. Year 10 in September the hard work starts then but I'm sure she will be okay.So proud of her.xxSealed pot (2010) no: 878 £719.60 :jCompleted

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, Mon & Tuesday too. Sorry, but I lost a day or so as our DS & DIL needed to have their dear dog put to sleep. Very sad indeed, though he was 10, but a really lovely dog/friend.
Well done with all you've saved GBN!!! :T Whilst I understand your feelings about starting over again, you've done really well during the last 7 months, you'll keep hard at it and soon have plenty more saved, I'm sure you will. Have a really wonderful time and bring back plenty of memories!
sparky,I hope you and your DW had a really lovely day on Monday, very busy celebrating no doubt!! :kisses2:I'm so pleased she's got rid of the migraines now, all those endorphins flooding her brain!!!
Well done resisting the coke rentawitch, that's the way to save! :T
Your youngster sounds such a lovely little one fishcakes, you do well to be so proud of her, she sounds an absolute delight. No doubt she'll do herself proud next year.
Scub, I do hope all goes well with the interview, I wish you well.
Have a good day everyone.

Thanks Sue, should hear from them if they want to see me again/offer me a job on Thursday or Friday.
In the mean time I had a phone call today asking me to an interview tomorrow, couldn't make it since its down South but they're seeing if a more local Area Manager might be able to meet me instead - although given I go on holiday Tuesday am I suspect I'll struggle to fit it in unless it can be on Monday. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Morning Sue
DW and I had a really nice Anniversary, we had a lovely meal and night out with entertainment from a Frank Sinatra impressionist, who was excellent. We're off to Greece on Monday for 2 weeks of sunshine
So sorry to hear about the loss of your DS & DiL's dog, it's horrible when you lose one and people who don't have animals don't understand what it's like to lose one.
