I opened my pot at the weekend as I want to get some bits and bobs for my daughter's 18th. I had £170 in it.

    Wow that's brilliant, well done!

Hi Paul, good to see you, and knowing you're now able to add more to your pot. DH & I are well thanks and take it you and Sarah are also. Love to Merthyr. :D

Hi Sparky, I hope your DW is much better now. :)

Well done Ruby, a wonderful amount saved. I hope she has a really lovely day. Oh to be 18 again...now that I'm 21 it seems so young! ;)

Awwww just bless your little one jakes-mum, kiddies do the very sweetest things, hearts of gold.:) Good for you in bringing him/her up with savings in mind. Keep on shaking out DH's trousers (not just work ones ;)), hounding the change from DS as well, they'll both be pleased later. :)

Excellent news dentonemma gthat is amazing savings! Take care of it and enjoy your holiday. :)

Step away from the sealed pot, shake your head to get the thoughts of opening your pot out of your head :D. It's called sealed pot for a reason ;).

I couldn't have put it better thank you sparky. Now then fishcakes  always think of your Sealed pot as a ticking bomb, you go near it for the wrong reasons and it'll EXPLODE  or summat! :o Seriously though, leave it be for as long as you need, after all, the longer you leave it the more it grows! :D

Ahaa! There you are starnac! Was only thinking about you the other night and wondering if all was well. It sounds as though it is anyway. All the best with the house buying.

£2.95 for my pot today, £1 DH owed me....i didn't let him forget, tis for his own good mind! :kisses3:

Filthy night here, keep safe if anyone else is having near gale like weather, or it you're not. :) Have a good day tomorrow folks.

    Morning Sue
Happy to report my DW is clear of migraine's for now and and is fully functioning on all cylinders! We're both preparing for our holiday to Greece, we fly out on the 26th, our first proper holiday for 3 years and we can't wait. Goinjg for a meal on Saturday to celebrate our upcoming Anniversary (19 years and they said it wouldn't last!)

I see we've woken upto typical British summertime weather! Since they announced a hose pipe ban all we've had is wind and rain!

Have a great day everyone, stay safe and keep saving

Evening sparky, we almost sound like shift workers. :) I'm so pleased your DW is free from that awful pain. Looking ahead to such a great holiday will do her good, you too. You've both a lot to look ahead to and 19 years ain't bad at all eh! Happy Anniversary for whenever it is. :bdaycake:BTW, surely the fix to the hosepipe van surely was brought about by the kind water boards who hate taking our money from us! *****??***$*****!!********!!!! Don't like em much. :(

Excellent news LC! I'm so chuffed you've got that first week out of the way, well done. :T

£1 in me pot today, not much but not bad for sure. :)

    Have a lovely weekend everyone.
