:j £8 in the pot today! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Don't worry sparky, I can remember Morcambe & Wise too....just! They were proper comedians, just the sight of dear Eric could make me laugh. That £10 was a great find, well done, bet the previous owner thinks he/she was too!
Such bad luck savingmummy, but my words to you would completely echo sparky's, move on and get back saving just as soon as you can and be thankful you had it there to fall back on!:) You can't leave us now and even if it's only pennies to save for a while, it's money saved and you never know when good fortune might bless you! Best wishes.

Put £4.70 in the pot last night, after a pleasant afternoon out with DS. I paid for museum entry, he paid for coffee and cake.
He only sees his girlfriend every other weekend, so he came over to keep his old mum company on Sat, and stayed the night. And, we went together to see DH/DF in hospital on Sat and Sun.Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0 -
