I am doing really terribly on this challenge as I dont use cash very often.
Have been putting the odd £1 coin in though so prob have about £30 in total, not great compared to some but do have £70 in £2 coins though as I NEVER spend them :D

Dont worry pammy, as I'm exactly the same since I use my Egg Money card in order to build up my cashback so am in the same boat ;) But as Sue says, every little helps and whatever we save by the end of the year will be better than nothing :j

I'll send some off into the ether Sue - that is, if you can put up with a sticky computer!!

(Actually I haven't opened it yet - at the moment I'm saving it for when I feel the need for a treat!)

......ME TOO Winchelsea, so whatever are you waiting for?? I could be your guinea pig! :)

I think we all look forward to seeing the photos sparky! :D

Gambit your Target of £150 has been updated, good luck with reaching it ...or sailing beyond!

passthewine, I've heard of taking sweets from babies, but from a 6yr old's pocket!!!!

    Paul
, please don't worry, it was your savings and maybe the need for it for your holiday is greater than will be at Christmas. Who knows! Have a really lovely holiday and ....enjoy yourselves! ;)

Myrtle77, if you're not too keen on the looks of the pot you have now, how about asking for one of your choice as a Christmas/Birthday present?? Or pretty it up with paint or stencils!

Lovely to see you back again rubytuesday! Well done with the pot too! :T

Well done on the weight loss PAID! :T

Gambit's right Pammy, though aside from that, looking back at the £1s & £2s you're not looking too bad with your savings so far, and there's still a way to go yet. Keep saving all you can. :)

    Brilliant Kerry! :T

For me it's £2.16 in the pot.

All the best for a lovely Sunday folks, enjoy it, stay safe and save well. ;)

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine, it must be getting a bit warmer as yesterday there was the smell of barbeques in the air here :)

Have been putting all the change in the pot during the week and slowly but surely my pot is begining to fill up. Will have to have a think what it will go towards when the time comes to open it.

    Afternoon everyone,
Just in the middle of an insurance survey, phoning 6 different companies getting paiod £50 to do it, so that's going towards the New York spend funds. DW bought me a fishtail parka to wear on my scooter yesterday. 22p into the sealed pot liberated from DW's purse last night plus 9p in road change found walking the dog

Another £1.63 dropped into the pot, it's really heavy now, I think I might need another pot soon as the first one is nearly full (Yay!)
