I have started saving in a sealed pot, and am hoping to join you all officially with a number. Meanwhile, can't wait for that pot to start feeling heavy!

    Probably saving for a holiday....??

It's been a while since I posted on here as we have had no money to put in the sealed pot. Our pot is due to be opened this month and we may well do that this weekend so that we can get the money changed and banked ready to buy our euros. We banked some of the pot money in December so that it could go and earn a little interest. I will post again once I've counted up how much is in the pot and then we will be starting again on a pot for Christmas.

Well it's been a while since I posted but I had to raid my Sealed Pot. It went towards buying a welsh dresser. At first I was upset that I had to use this money. It was something I really wanted and never expected to get one this early and it was such a bargain but I couldn't have afforded it without this money. But now I am fine with it because that is what the tin was for - something special! So after that waffle I will be starting again at £0.

Hope everyone has saved lots and is keeping it sealed :rotfl:

    Morning toriaterrier
Do us a favour kid, can you pop the amount you took out of your pot into your siggy, I can then add this to the final total when we have the big count in December :D Thanks

luckycharlie, may that light keep shining!

Just back from S**nsb*ry. Found 4p on the pavement on the way back from bus stop - do we call it "roadkill"?! - and have added it to the change in my purse to make a total of £4.14 to go in the pot. Running total since I started counting yesterday is £6.74.

Hiya Kas, good to see you back on the naughty seat and NO! Reb will NOT be sending in any biscuits, though I may allow her to blow some crumbs your way using a straw. :p

Flipping heck I haven't been on here for weeks and I am still in trouble. I will not be delivering biscuits to anyone on the naughty spot or otherwise. As with the chocolate I will be keeping them all to myself.:p.... and Kas in case you're wondering I am all out of straws!

PS what did you do to be sent there anyways?
I don't get to come on here too often.
    Too buzy money saving!
