Put £5 note in 'Mr Cow' for the past few days. I'm trying to put notes in instead of coins once a week so it'll be easier to bank in December. Also,if i have notes in my purse,i'm swapping them for coins already saved in 'Mr Cow' and it makes it less tempting to 'borrow' as i can't get notes out as easy as coins if i need to borrow lol.

  • I saw a 20p on the floor of the night bus yesterday, but it was near a crowd of drunken revellers one of whom had probably dropped it, so didn't dare to swoop down and grab it! Very disappointing.

Ok, am off to see king Tut in 2 hours, so flying in to say farewell.

Had a mad dash to the Vietnamese embassy to pick my visa up this morning. I'll be in Thailand for the New Year - where apparently they have gigantic water fight:eek::eek::eek: then get to Vietnam to meet my friends before a few days in Cambodia:) Finally hook up with Mr LC in Istanbul for a week before returning:D:D:D

I know you will be concerned for Mr LC being home alone, but he will be OK. He is decorating the house in my absence:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:And someone had to stay home and cat sit;)

Lots of golden coins in the pottie. See you all on my return. LCxxx:A
    Save me from spending...

  • Well it's been a while since I posted but I had to raid my Sealed Pot. It went towards buying a welsh dresser. At first I was upset that I had to use this money. It was something I really wanted and never expected to get one this early and it was such a bargain but I couldn't have afforded it without this money. But now I am fine with it because that is what the tin was for - something special! So after that waffle I will be starting again at £0.

Hope everyone has saved lots and is keeping it sealed :rotfl:
