I said to my DH tonight that we must put away for an emergency, him and my son who is 14 said why we have approx £300 in our tin and my son has £500 in his which he say we could use for an emergency. Tins are getting very heavy. We will open in June because I know that I have one or two £20 in our tin and my son has five or six £20 notes in his. Total of £1.62 today for me.

  • £8 in pounds for my pounds and notes box today.:j

It should be going towards things I might need in the next few weeks, but I'm putting more in so that if I have to borrow any I won't be doing too badly - I'll just owe the box back.
If I don't spend any, thats even better.:T It's my incentive not to go overboard on the spending and to keep what I have in the box :o
