"Sealed Pot Challenge 3"

Hi All
Can I join please?
I had already started doing a sealed pot challenge before finding out about this thread but then I had to break into it to get change for a car boot sale lol. As it happened the heavens decided to give us 3 inches of snow and I decided that bed was the better option so Ive got £128 saved up so far but not in a sealed pot. Was just going to go get a new one but thinking I might actually make one instead, beats watching tv of an evening!

xxHi
Could you count me in too, this is a fab idea. Hubby has just given up business to become a student for four years, with 4 kiddies the money will come in handy for christmas.:jsillyrabbit wrote: »Hi all! Would love to join in with this - hope I can!
We already have a big bee money bank which is technically my 3 year old's, but as she never has any money I guess I'll have to put it in for her! I'm thinking I'll put my change in and anything we have at the end of the year will go towards the girls' christmas presents. It already has a load of coppers in, but will start keeping track from now and NOT RAID IT!!

Over the past two days I've bagged another £1 worth of pennies
It might seem silly doind the coppers and 5ps but I really can't afford to save other denominations at the moment.... so £15 bagged so far. Another £2 in 5ps and that takes it up to £20 in two months.... so if I aim for £100 by December that will but the OH the coat he really really wants for christmas.
Hope everyone's ok. It's raining here in Liverpool...... As the bottoms of my jeans can testify

Nothing silly about saving the little coins. Take care of the pennies and all that......
And :T £20 is a really good amount to have collected in small coins in 2 months. Well done!
I hate the soggy jeans bottoms thing, I often tuck my foot under me without thinking when I sit down so I end up with a wet bum too£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Gah - just opened my post.
I was about to make my payment of £112 to my loan (from my naughty opening the tin last week) but the post included the renewal notice for my contents insurance. £128.54. I think I know what the £112 will be going on instead.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
