Hi All
Can I join please?
I had already started doing a sealed pot challenge before finding out about this thread but then I had to break into it to get change for a car boot sale lol. As it happened the heavens decided to give us 3 inches of snow and I decided that bed was the better option so Ive got £128 saved up so far but not in a sealed pot. Was just going to go get a new one but thinking I might actually make one instead, beats watching tv of an evening!

Hi
Could you count me in too, this is a fab idea. Hubby has just given up business to become a student for four years, with 4 kiddies the money will come in handy for christmas.:j0 -
a few more bits and bobs in the non £ pot today.
high drama here, I have been disconnecting my washing machine so that the nice men from John Lewis can take it away when they bring my new one that my landlady has sorted out for me. Now, I have changed washing machines before so no high drama there, but then the cold hose wouldn't stop drinbbling when I took it off the back of the machine.
Thank goodness for the internet! with a quick google I knew that the red and blue taps are basically rubbish, I also knew it was OK to remove them and turn the thingy underneath with a pair of pliers.
Disaster averted. I love the internet today for magicking up the answers for me (and for giving me my current job). I also love the people that put up the helpful info on some random washing machine forum. there is a lot of love in the poor household this evening with the high drama - lol.
I would probably have got there without the internet in the end, but this made it a whole lot quicker and a whole lot less angst ridden (and it might have involved a call to my dad)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Hi all! Would love to join in with this - hope I can!
We already have a big bee money bank which is technically my 3 year old's, but as she never has any money I guess I'll have to put it in for her! I'm thinking I'll put my change in and anything we have at the end of the year will go towards the girls' christmas presents. It already has a load of coppers in, but will start keeping track from now and NOT RAID IT!!:j Currently doing the Swagbucks challenge :j0
