Haven't put anything in the pot for a while but £2 in today.
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.

  • Hi all,

Sorry not been around for the last week or two.

Piggie is feeling a little hungry, but it is nearly payday!

I made a saving on my petrol at Tesco today with a 5p a litre off, so the change of about £1.50 will go in the piggie before I go off to bed, along with any other lose change in my purse. Will update my total later.

    Morning Sue
Having loads of fun with the scooter and still grinning like a kid in a sweet shop :D. Was going out today on it, but we've got a thick blanket of snow here this morning , I only like snow on Christmas cards with money inside :rotfl:

You lucky beggar sparky, I'd have loved a think layer of snow to pretty up the countryside round us. It's all well and good on cards, but the real thing's what I like.... so to speak! ;)

How do Our Elsie, good to see you. Don't worry about it being slow, better that than nowt.

Lovely to see you back jacki, though I'm so sorry to hear about your poor lad, what a rotten time of it for him. Re the gluten intolerance problems, put a search into Google as there's a lot of help for those like you out there. Sticking to all they advise will certainly have you feeling much better - and fast!

cloverfan, I reckon we probably all do the same re wondering if those either side of us in shops are fellow MSEers or.... Sealed Potters.... cashier too even! I so often wonder if I'm looking one in the eye when handing cash over.... or getting cash back and shouting YEEEEESSS!!! A 2 pounder for me pot!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

EC12345, you're doing just great, keep at it and it'll come in really handy.

Another good day for everyone, well almost everyone. Not a brass thingamybob for me, but hopeful for tomorrow. Have a good week all, give the pots your best.

  • I have to confess that the temptation has gotten the better of me. The tin was getting heavy and I couldn't cope with the not knowing so I cut a little hole in and counted the contents. £102.60 :j :j :j

I am really pleased with that. I have taped the tin up and all the money is back in there and I will try not to do it again. :rotfl:
