£32.31 into my tins today (2 weeks worth of change) so have updated my sig :D.
  • Argh, after 5 days of being stuck in my flat I have just buckled and opened my £1 can. There was £92 in there :T (and add on the £20 that I STILL owe it from my almost no-spend-week a few weeks ago and it is £112)

I do feel bad, but having done it I figure that it will do more good paid off a debt so am going to bank it and then knock it off of a my loan (will put it in my siggy so that I don't forget)

I bore easily so the fact I haven't done it already this week is a signal that I am either getting better at controlling my impatience or that I was just too ill and am finally getting better.

:)My sealed pot is still going strong. It is an old brown cardboard box that used to contain tea bags - so I can't see the contents. Hopefully there should be about £10 in there already - not loads I know but I'm getting there - I do the weekly spend challenge and when I come in under budget - the remainder goes into the sealed pot.

I think it is such a good idea - I can't wait for December to see how much is in there - am aming for £50. :)

    hello all

i hope your all well and saving still. ive not been on for a while as ive had no spare change at all! we went on holiday the last week in january which was nice but boor son got winter vomiting virus on the wednesday and had it for a week after! daughter and hubby got it for one day after we were home too so i spent about 10days clearing up ewwww. ive been putting coppers in the penny pot but only about 1 pound fifty in my sealed pot since we got back. I must try harder!
on the plus side we seem to have worked out what was making me faint sick tiered ect, a wheat n gluten intolerence! so having cut it out which is quite hard ive been felling almost like my old self for a week nearly now:T
any ideas on what i can eat are welcomed as i dont eat red meat (i dont like it)
so far i have keen wah fruit veg humus fish n potatoes o yeah n baked beans ???

well its good to be back and ill try n pop in a tad more

    jacki

got to say i am on my second time of having this virus in 3 weeks not very enjoyable :o but at least it stops me spending money lol

hope things are going well for you!
