AAAAW! So cute in his woollie-pullie. :D:D:D
In a word? Scary!!!! lol. Nah....., the travel agents are sorting most of it out, egarding the wedding licence and stuff. Future Mrs S is going to sort out her frock. And I'll have a monkey suit. Apparently my shorts wont cut it! lol.
Yes - frock buying can be a total pain....especially if you're not having a traditional UK doooo. All very exciting though. Although the best bit for me was the holiday after.:o:o:o

Well the tenth day in to a New Year and I am still putting all my change in my pots.
I have decided that at the end of the year/beginning of next year I will use it to make an overpayment on the mortgage.
Really trying to chip away at that dreaded monthly payment.......OH retires in 16 years and our aim is to have it cleared long before that date:):)

Went out for dinner and drinks last night - dinner was card paid so no chance of any suitable change there; drinks were cash paid but they didn't give me any pot worthy change :(

On another note, the landlady of my local seems to have turned the whole place over to cats, there used to be stills of B&W movies on all the wallks, now one wall is pics of cats and cat related images and another is a wall of cats that need homes. The sign now has cats painted on it (portraits of the various cats the pub has owned and adopted) and there are cat silhouettes in the windows, there is even a specially commissioned cat that is named after a cat that sort of adopted the pub!!!

Anyone would think that she liked cats!!

ETA: this is it - http://www.guardian-series.co.uk/news/wfnews/4717054.WALTHAMSTOW__Beer_festival_with_a_difference_to_be_held_at_pub/?action=complain&cid=8081031

Seems I haven't been there for a while, it is still very much going strong

Me funny??? I could take a fence at that! Actually, I think I've got the wrong country as I think it might be Checkoslovakia or whatever tis called these days. Twas them there Cossacks with their low legs that kicked em in the baltics, don't you think Kerf??! :rotfl:;)

I hope you're doing well, hubby too. Bet you have more snow that we have, but at least we have quite a bit this year!!! :j Night Kerf, take care.

    Sue-UU,no fences meant, honest!
I hope you and hubby are ok too and keeping yourselves safe and warm.

Actually not sure about us having more snow than you, at one point it was melting here and snowing with you guys so it could be debatable. Although what's not debatable is that as a country we are prepared for it so it's no big deal and everything carries on as usual. I really feel for you all having to struggle with impassable roads, school closures, panic buying etc, that's just ridiculous. And what's worse for you guys is the cold and damp, we don't have the damp here and that makes a BIG difference.

Just make sure you all look after each other.

And just to stay on topic..................................no pennies in the pot for what seems like yonks!
