The Body Shop- deal of the day bargain

one of my orders have arrived and I'm real pleased with it, The brushes aren't all that but compare them with a set you'd buy outta boots or the like and they are still a bargain. The boots are lovely but the roller balls not worth £3. I suspect bodyshop get these for 5p each and are making loads on people buying them to make up their order for free del or 342 or free gifts. I bought 4 in total!0

I am pretty sure my friends will be happy with their presents of brushes, eye pallette and rollerball....they will never guess it only cost £6!! Mwah ha ha!!!If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0

I am also more than happy with my purchases so far. The roller balls look as though they are probably worth about £1 IMO and my nieces will be more than happy with them as a little something extra to their existing presents. So in effect I paid £2.80 for the brush sets which I think is a great buy!
I agree that they are definately not worth £39 - but if I got them as a gift would think they were around the £12 - £15 mark and the quality isn't that bad.
Am waiting for my foot hugs, body hug and cranberry reed room fragrance thingie.
I haven't shopped in body shop since the early 90's TBH as did not think it was value for money - but this deal is FABULOUS! :beer:0 -
My last order has arrived with half of it missing.....2 make up bags, 2 soaps and 1 body butter.
I've just phoned and they will send out replacements but it's quite a lot to be missing from one order so heaven knows how that's happened.
I thought maybe it would be in another box but nope, it states 1 of 1 on the label.
Looks like they are snowed under. :rolleyes:Herman - MP for all!0 -
just got my order but instead of brush roll set i received mango pamper pouch...
Will have to wait for the brushes as the CS lady said that they are low on stock and waiting for delivery....0 -
What's the best offers at the moment? It's pay day tomorrow and want to get my order planned!!2010 is the year of bargain shopping! Time to money save, exercise and plan! I like to keep busy0

In the shop there is 30% off lots of gifts from today til the 24th, but the discounts don't seem to be showing up on the online shop!
To clarify with the £5 voucher- there is no minimum spend but change will not be given if you spend less than £5 (most people are buying the £5 little gift boxes)
The Winter Trend eye and cheek palette in 01 has sold out in our shop, glad I grabbed a couple because the eyeshadows last really well.0 -
My last order arrived today via RM in a padded jiffy bag. It was the brushes and 2 x sparkle roller things, certainly nice enough for the £5 odd I paid.0

I'm doing the same for my friends, I think it makes a lovely gift and for £6 you can't really complain! :jAddicted to MSE, I can't resist a bargain0 -

I'm not disappointed with what I paid for the stuff (quite cheap, not moaning !) but the normal selling price seems like a total con. I feel saying the brushes are worth 39.99 duped people into buying more than they would have normally. The soaps were tiny! £5.95 for a small bottle of bubble bath !This stuff doesn't seem to be of the same quality Body Shop used to sell. I am so glad my card got rejected for the other 5 orders !!!!!
I'm the opposite, i'm really impressed with the body shop and the way they've handled this offer. I do only shop online at the BS, and only with a good code as it brings prices down to a level I feel are worth paying. So yes at full price I feel their products are overpriced, but then I feel that about most places which is why i'm always after a bargain:rotfl:
Don't forget that your online orders can be returned. If peeps aren't happy with their orders, there is no point keeping it just because it was a good price;):starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0
