i need to ask a question... today i received 2 more parcels.. i have too much stuff.. is it possible to take it back to the shop ? i have the apricot body shower (8) and something else that came free... will they know how much i paid for them after discount ? i never ever returned anything and feel a bit weird about doing it... but my oh is right, i just went nuts.. this is too much.

I'm not sure if they would be able to refund you for shower gels unless they are faulty- a lot of places don't offer refunds on toiletries as they could have been tampered with. You would be able to post them back for a refund under distance selling rules, but you would need to return the free items as well.

You could always give them away as pressies to friends/ homeless shelters/ raffle prizes maybe?

My microwave is a 900 watt and 15 secs was no where near long enough. Needed three times that.

I was going to give some to my mum but she hasn't got a microwave!! I wonder if they would warm up on her storage heaters?

Probably would but I expect they would take a while.. if you have to use your normal heating system to heat them, doesn't that defeat the point of having them?

I started with 15 secs but only barely warm so zapped for a further 15 seconds and they were warm enough but not roasting hot.

The T&Cs for returns are on the back of your delivery order, and also on the Help page of the Body Shop's website:
    http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/services/help.aspx

Basically, for unwanted items that are unopened and can be resold, you can return by post or return to the store.
If you want a refund at the store, you must take your delivery note and they'll find out how much you paid and return that amount. If you don't have a receipt (e.g. if it was a gift) the shop will exchange or give you a gift card to the current selling price.
If you want to send the stuff back, I assume you have to pay the delivery charges yourself.

The BS website doesn't state that some things can't be returned for hygiene reasons. Other stores do, but they'd generally exclude all the BS's stock under the rule "toiletries/makeup cannot be exchanged for reasons of hygiene". Some BS items like the body butter have plastic seals but most don't.

"How do I return an item?
We hope that you are pleased with your purchase. If you need to return an item for exchange or any other reason, please read the instructions below.
Send an Email, with the Subject 'Return request - XXXXXX ' (Where XXXXXX is the order number shown on the front of the delivery note). Detail the items you wish to return. Call us on 08000 92 90 90, option 2, please make sure you have the delivery note with you when you call. You will be issued with an RMA number. Complete the form below, detailing what you are returning, ensure you write the RMA number into the form. Pack your parcel with care; if you fail to pack the parcel and your goods arrive damaged (as a result of the return trip) we may not be able to process your return. Send the parcel to us. We recommend you use a carrier that offers both traceability and insurance. You should obtain a receipt for the parcel when you send it.
    RMA No. XXXXXX

Please allow 7 days for your parcel to reach us. We will process it within 2 working days of it arriving.
You can also return any of the products to any The Body Shop store; simply take the product and your delivery note into the store. Explain to the member of staff that you bought the product online and they will assist you."

Important to anyone trying to get full price refunds.( A lil naughty me thinks, but who am I to judge)

My sisters local Bodyshop are more than aware of this Glitch , as my sis was in there looking around, gloating at our savings and saw someone bring back 3 huge boxes without the delivery note, trying to get a refund.

The sales girl asked if she had used the 30% code:eek:, and went off to phone someone.
I appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A
